"Doctor Sakharpe is wonderful. I did gyno surgery with him and opted to stay conscious. The entire time he showed compassion and talked me through it all. I’m sure in a year you won’t be able to really see them at all. The after care from surgery from MY experience was amazing. I wasn’t in pain at all really. I was up and walking around that same day. "I am so pleased to have the opportunity to give a review from a husband’s perspective of the amazing work that Dr. Kumbla did for my wife. Dr. Kumbla’s surgical wisdom, amazing warmth, clear communication, and compassionate care, combined to create a true white glove experience for us throughout our journey with her. But let’s start at the beginning.Six months before my wife’s 50th birthday, she announced to me that she wanted to look fit and fabulous on her special day and wanted to have a breast lift and augmentation. From my perspective my wife was more than adequately endowed and looked amazing. From her perspectives, however, she wanted to “look nicer” on vacation in her bathing suits.She researched other doctors, but Dr. Kumbla (or Dr. K as we call her) came highly recommended by someone in her medical spa. In our first meeting with Dr. K, we immediately understood why. She started by asking us lots of questions to better understand our why, our vision, and the things that were important to us. When we asked questions, she didn’t respond with “doctor speak”: the typical medical jargon that would always make you feel like they were the expert, and you were the idiot. Instead, she explained things in simple and clear language, responded with compassion, and assured us that she would be with us every step of the way. We had no idea, at the time, what those words really meant and how different a medical experience we were about to have.To start, scheduling the surgery was not a simple task. We are avid travelers, taking trips 5-6 times a year, so scheduling the surgery between trips was like trying to thread a very fine needle. Dr. K’s staff did the impossible, they were able to juggle their surgery calendar to allow our surgery to occur days after one trip while allowing the required time before the next. We were so pleased.During our pre-op visit, we walked away with all the clarity we needed to be fully prepared for the surgery and the post-surgery healing. We also had the final discussions about size and shape, and Dr. K even encouraged us to share pictures with her of the desired end point.Based on the guidance we received from the pre-op visit, we made changes to our home to make those first two weeks post-surgery much more comfortable for my wife.Though the surgery was over five hours, Dr. K’s staff kept me notified every step of the way as I kept myself distracted in the waiting room working on my computer. When Dr. K came out and described to me the success of the surgery, I must confess to dropping a tear or two of grateful relief.Dr. K personally called the next morning to check in on the patient. Then again 2 days later. She happened to be in the area one afternoon in the first week, and she came by for a house call! (What doctor does this these days?)An additional nice feature of Dr. K’s approach is that you pay one price, and all the pre- and post-surgery activities are included. She wants you to be happy and she does everything she can pre- and post-surgery to make that happen.At this point, we are over four months post-surgery, and my wife couldn’t be happier with the results and with the journey getting. Dr. K and her staff create a truly handholding, white glove experience that is way beyond the current practice.We are so pleased."

I was amazed by how little pain I experienced (only needed 3 pain pills) after my lift procedure. My incisions healed SO well which was a concern for me with darker skin, but Dr. Song knows what he’s doing! At first I wanted to go flat, but then after my breast surgeon and other doctor friends explained all the options available for patients in my situation I changed my mind and went with double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction.Dr. Kumbla was recommended to me by my breast surgeon, and I'm so glad she did. From the moment I met her I felt at ease. She is very well spoken, explains everything in detail, and gave me a chance to ask questions. "I was debating getting a procedure done back in December 2022. I was nervous, scared, and asking myself if I should do it. When I first walked into Dr. Kumbla office, I was greeted with the front desk staff Brandi and her co-workers. Brandi advised she will be my schedule appointment reminder throughout the process. Everyone had smiles on their faces and provided me confort. Ms Brandi advised Dr. Kumbla is one of the best doctors. When I met Dr. Kumbla in the exam room along with her staff, they provided me comfort and answered all of my questions even if they were dumb questions. Dr. Kumbla said that she will be right by me when I fell asleep before the surgery and after I woke up. On Surgery day, my stomach were in knots, including butterflies. "Healed, shaped well, and my small incision sites are almost faded away - I stay in pretty good shape but through the aging process (and some laziness on my own part) I was stuck with some stubborn love handles. I am an 18 year breast cancer survivor, my breast were uneven, I had weight loss surgery and with the lost weight my breast were very noticeably uneven and I was self conscience of the way I looked. I went to 3 consultation before going to Prima and they each said they couldn’t touch the radiated breast with no other suggestions or options. Dr. Song, however, gave me options, I went with reduction of my right breast to match my left breast and a lift on both with liposuction. While my surgery was a challenge for him he because of the the way the lumpectomy left my left breast so deformed, he mastered it successfully, I love the outcome and feel great I am 3 weeks post op. "I was debating getting a procedure done back in December 2022. I was nervous, scared, and asking myself if I should do it. When I first walked into Dr. Kumbla office, I was greeted with the front desk staff Brandi and her co-workers. Brandi advised she will be my schedule appointment reminder throughout the process. Everyone had smiles on their faces and provided me confort. Ms Brandi advised Dr. Kumbla is one of the best doctors. "Consultation - tummy tuck & breast lift with removal of axillary tissue. - Had the privilege to consult with Dr. Song this afternoon for a plethora of issues that need reconstruction: botched extended tummy tuck redo, botched breast lift redo w/ axillary tissue removal, correct asymmetry of botched back lipo, and additional arm & thigh lift.Due to the severity of the complications I had with the procedures performed overseas, Dr. Song advised to begin my reconstruction journey by attacking my anterior body; tummy tuck & breast lift with removal of axillary tissue. He emphasized that he would not be flipping over (face down), in other words, he would not perform lipo or excise skin from my back during my 1st surgery. This would potentially fall in phase 2/3, contingent upon successful healing of my abdominal & breast redos. Due to my sleep apnea my surgeries would need to be performed at the hospital.Unfortunately, I currently do not have a belly button due to my previous botched experience and Dr. Song explained that we would not even attempt to create a new belly button (neo umbilicus) at this point in order to curtail potential blood circulation/infection issues. This one was a hard pill to swallow because I've been waiting for a new belly button since I got botched in mid-2000's. Also, he advised against me getting implants along with my breast lift redo (due to potential rejection of foreign object). Doc urged me to "trust his plan" and honestly, I know his plan is conservative in comparison to all the TikTok surgeons however, my now wiser & mature self & intuition tell me that I have found my symmetry Angel.I've been battling with shame, depression and fear from my "botched" experience in Bogotá.I nearly died and was left severely disfigured to the point that I no longer have a belly button, I have a hard mass in my stomach which is causing me to have back & mobility issues, my back skin sags, and my husband & father of my children abandoned US because of how "hideous my turned out" - his words exactly. So you see, if Dr. Song can work his magic slowly but surely - I'M DOWN!I've done enough spiritual, mental and emotional healing. Recently underwent VSG surgery to lose the excessive weight I've packed on these past 17 years drowning in my own self-pity. It's time to heal my exterior! 2023 is my come back year!PSDoc has excellent bedside manners and is very attentive. He was not dismissive, yet firm on his plan on how to approach my situation with what I'm currently working with: a botched canvas. I respect that! It shows that he can't be lured with money by stacking procedure over procedure to rack up a bill. He is invested in his patient's safety & FINAL outcome.One thing I totally forgot to ask him is if he does J-Plasma for skin tightening during his procedures. "For years I struggled with mid section weight gain in the lower belly. No matter how many diets, exercise, healthy eating, counting carbs/macros I couldn’t even make a dent in the lower belly. It was depressing to say the least. I decided to look into a Tummy Tuck. Had several consultations with different surgeons. My concern was safety #1. I didn’t want a doctor to cut corners or a doctor that was all about IG likes and followers. When I met Dr Song I knew I would be safe. He also told me no diet or exercise would free me of the bottom belly area that it would need to be surgically removed. "Getting Back to Me After 3 Sweet Babies! - I’ve been wanting a tummy tuck ever since after I had my first c-section and my OBGYN looked at my stomach and said “the only way you’re going to loose your stomach is to have a tummy tuck.” I had three c-sections and with the first two weighing in at 9lbs 0.2 oz and 9lb 3oz. My last baby was the smallest at 8lb 9oz. Each baby was 28 months after the last.I had a breast reduction by a different surgeon two years ago and afterwards I only saw my belly. I researched several doctors, read countless reviews, searched the end of YouTube for videos and finally chose Dr. Song.My initial consult was April 27, 2021. I arrived alone at Prima Center for Plastic Surgery and was greeted by Stacy. I eventually was taken to the back by Adriana she explained everything that was going to happen during the consult, had me undress and she took photos.Dr Song came in shortly after and explained the procedure, asked questions, performed an assessment and told me what type of tummy tuck I was a candidate for. He was thorough and made it very clear he was not going to flip me over on the table and was not going to perform back lipo. He showed me a video of the process and showed the areas he is going to lipo (the flanks), answered my questions and that was basically it.After he left, Jessica came in and explained the pricing, provided the quote and advised me to call when I was ready to schedule. I paid $75 for the consultation and was told if I choose Dr. Song the $75 will go towards the overall cost of the surgery.I left feeling glad my questions were answered but a little uncertain at the same time. I questioned do I want lipo of my back rolls? Why wouldn’t he flip me over? After giving it much thought, my expectation was to have a natural looking tummy. I don’t want the “Instagram model” look. I don’t want to look overly liposuctioned if that makes sense. I came back to Real Self, reviewed his reviews and photos again, discussed it my husband, my best friend and a few others close to me and then decided I’m going to go for it!I called on May 4, 2021 to schedule the surgery. Cindy was very nice and helpful. It was $500 to schedule the appointment and that will also go towards the cost of the surgery. I’m super happy I took the step, super happy about choosing Dr. Song and look forward to the surgery day this month in September!"

"Mommy Time… - I have 74 days before my tummy tuck. I would love to have it sooner, but I’m not going to push it because I want to lose some weigh. Thirty pounds would be awesome. I want to make sure I get the best results and I don’t want to worry about losing more weight after my surgery. I’ve really worked my but off. I walked 6 miles almost everyday, with the exception of Sundays. I also swam twice a week and did Zumba twice a week. As far as my diet, I cut back to 1200 calories per day and burn on average 2000 calories per day. This week, I cut back to 1000 calories and plan to juice until my pre-op, next week. During this week, I will probably cut back on the exercising and have one super healthy meal a day. I’m juicing beets, pineapples, spinach, oranges, ginger, and turmeric. So, I will juice and drink water all day and eat one small healthy meal before 6:00pm. And I plan to get plenty of rest and sleep; don’t want to tax my body too much. Oh yeah, also taking multivitamins. I purchased a few supplies for post-op care, but don’t want to over do it. Any suggestions? I already have Juven, foams, hibclens, pads for incision, loose fitting open in front dress, robe, and slide on shoes.Updated on 26 Aug 2021:I had my pre-op today. Everything went well. Adriana answered all of my questions before I met with Dr. Song. I went ahead an paid extra for the Exparel; just in case. Better safe than sorry. I hope it really makes a difference. I’m also getting a revision on my arm lift from two years ago. I’ve lost more weight in my arms and could really do without the extra skin. Not really sure how I’m going to get up and down without using my arms with a TT. Two years ago when it was just my arms, I relied heavily on my core muscles to scoot in and out of bed and seated positions. This is going to be interesting. I started going to the gym 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, I tried to do some ab workouts but wasn’t able to do a single on and I had it on the lowest setting, 5 lbs. So I get I’ll be taking it easy. Maybe even start with yoga or Pilates. I did however do a few Zumba classes with no problem. Any suggestions on ab workouts after a tummy tuck would be great."

My breast went from a 42H to a 38DD. I lost 10lbs prior to surgery and have lost an additional 10lbs since surgery. "I am very pleased with the service I have received from Prima Center. All interactions from the front desk staff to Dr. Zwerin have exceeded expectation. I first reached out for a consultation in 2020. Due to Covid, they were doing zoom consultations. Dr. Z was very thorough during our consult and he presented a PowerPoint slide show to cover all the necessary topics. I came into the office for a second consultation because he needed to see my thighs in person. From there I scheduled to have surgery about 3 months later. Due to excess weight loss, I have the skin removed on my stomach, arms and thighs (all at one time). The communication leading up to surgery was great. Surgery went as planned! The follow up care was great. I had some issues with my thighs and Dr. Z made himself available via cell phone and went so far as to meet me at the office over the wknd when they were closed just to make sure I was okay and to give me additional surgical dressings because I had ran out and the stores did not have any. Never needed the super pain killer (only ibuprofen and the pain pump) and was up and moving around the house the next day. Less than a week later I adventured out to Walmart with my husband. Less than 2 weeks post op I was going for walks and shortly after that I could workout with modifications. "Looking for the FLAT SIDE!!! - Where do I start now...I stalked Realself when I had my breast done. I heard great things about doctors in Miami (as long as you can withstand the wait times). Now I'm baaaack for a tummy tuck!! I wanted to go to Dr. Hunsaker (or however you spell it) at C.G. Cosmetics. However, I have heard so many horror stories where patients needed to go back to their original doctor due to whatever complications they were having. That's an 11 hour drive for me and I wouldn't be able to stay more than 5 days. Soooo I researched doctors in Atlanta, GA and found quite a few but none with CONSISTANT work! That was very important to me. That's how I found Dr. Song. I came across a few reviews from women who had seen him and I was always looking at their pics like "WOW"!! I even went to the website and pulled up Tummy Tuck before and after pics of his and his colleagues and let me tell you, Dr. Song can work miracles!!! Now I'm a thick chick weighing in now at 215 lbs so I thought I wasn't even going to be a candidate. I am 5'4", so I'm thick and short LOL!! I was nervous to even reach out to a doctor because I felt I would be rejected and be turned away due to my BMI being over 30. Not Dr. Song. When I have my verbal consultation with him on yesterday 10.1.2020, he made me feel so comfortable. I sent in my pics to his office last week and got contacted by his PA Cindy (who is sooo lovely and sweet). I paid the $75 consultation fee after completing paperwork with her and sending pics. (sorry for being all over the place). Buuut back to speaking to Dr. Song. The call lasted about 10 mins and he discussed the procedure in great detail. Everything from the cut and lipo and his expectations. He can see my true figure under these layers of blubber and he advised me that he can meet my expectations. The only extra thing I would have to work on is this bra roll. Ewww I hate that about my back but I really started working out and jogging again very recently. I just gotta keep it up. I got my quote this morning and there are a few things I want to discuss before I post the quote. I'm looking to get snatched in January 2021 (my birthday month). "Pick Dr Song! - Dr Song charges reasonable prices and treats you like his one and only surgery case. At my consult in March 2020, he showed me a video of the tummy tuck (TT) and lipo (upper stomach and flanks) procedure. He was honest that without getting the back lipo, I would still have the back rolls that I walked in with. That was fine because I never wanted a vixen look. I just wanted my body back from 10 years ago. I signed consent forms and I paid the deposit to have surgery in May. The next day Covid 19 exploded everywhere and I was sick to my stomach . But I had faith that everything would work out. And it did! Lockdown was lifted May 1st, mandatory Covid 19 testing came back negative a week before surgery. Pre op was 10 days before surgery; because I was having surgery at the his surgery center, I didn’t have to do pre op blood tests, pcp clearance or xrays. I am 36 yrs old, fairly healthy mom of 4 so I didn’t mind. I had a full workup a few months ago previously my pcp anyway. At preop I was given my prescriptions including 10 blood thinner syringes that I had to self administer (I hate needles but you barely feel it). I had gained weight over the quarantine and he voluntarily said he’d do some back lipo for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! That’s how you know the Dr cares about the final result, not just money! I was nervous the day of surgery but his nurses were great! So nice and accommodating! The pain was excruciating after surgery but it’s major surgery. The nurse gave me one Percocet post op but it did nothing. Just be prepared Dr Song told me after surgery that it would all be worth it and it was! He even called and texted me on a Sunday evening to make sure the pharmacist fixed my pain prescriptions!!! I have my body back and self esteem on 1000. I was back working at my home desk job a week after surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr Song for TT/lipo!!!Updated on 24 Aug 2020:If you are a curvy girl like me, have your stage 1 Faja ready to get into after surgery. Dr Song gave me a binder to wear but it kept riding into my waist. Right on my TT scar. He gave me the stage 1 faja a week PO and the nurse put it on me at the appt. I felt soooooo much better wearing the Faja under the binder. If I had the faja sooner, the swelling wouldn’t haven’t gotten so bad."

"Pick Dr Song! - Dr Song charges reasonable prices and treats you like his one and only surgery case. At my consult in March 2020, he showed me a video of the tummy tuck (TT) and lipo (upper stomach and flanks) procedure. He was honest that without getting the back lipo, I would still have the back rolls that I walked in with. That was fine because I never wanted a vixen look. I just wanted my body back from 10 years ago. I signed consent forms and I paid the deposit to have surgery in May. The next day Covid 19 exploded everywhere and I was sick to my stomach . But I had faith that everything would work out. And it did! Lockdown was lifted May 1st, mandatory Covid 19 testing came back negative a week before surgery. Pre op was 10 days before surgery; because I was having surgery at the his surgery center, I didn’t have to do pre op blood tests, pcp clearance or xrays. I am 36 yrs old, fairly healthy mom of 4 so I didn’t mind. I had a full workup a few months ago previously my pcp anyway. At preop I was given my prescriptions including 10 blood thinner syringes that I had to self administer (I hate needles but you barely feel it). I had gained weight over the quarantine and he voluntarily said he’d do some back lipo for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! That’s how you know the Dr cares about the final result, not just money! I was nervous the day of surgery but his nurses were great! So nice and accommodating! The pain was excruciating after surgery but it’s major surgery. The nurse gave me one Percocet post op but it did nothing. Just be prepared Dr Song told me after surgery that it would all be worth it and it was! He even called and texted me on a Sunday evening to make sure the pharmacist fixed my pain prescriptions!!! I have my body back and self esteem on 1000. I was back working at my home desk job a week after surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr Song for TT/lipo!!!"

"Thank you Dr. Mike Song! - I have been wanting a mommy makeover for several years. I workout at least 3 days a week but I could never get rid of the loose skin on my stomach that came from my pregnancies. While researching mommy makeovers I came across this site and I'm so grateful that I did. There was one doctor that really stood out to me (Dr. Mike Song) so inboxed the women that had work done by him. They assured me that I didn't need to search any further. Pre-op was Tuesday and everything went great pretty eazy process. When i first arrived i have to call or text the office to let them know i was outside. They then called me to come in. At the door they have someone taking your temperature before you go any further. Once in the back I changed into the gown Dr Song assist Adriana came in took my hemo, blood pressure and temperature again then she went over the drain info and after care she also gave me my prescriptions (63.00 with insurance). After that Dr Song came in to to another exam and to answer any other questions i had. The whole process took about 30 minutes."
