Overview
Vanquish is a state-of-the-art technology that uses radiofrequency waves to heat and kill fat cells without damaging muscles or skin. It is designed to treat the entire abdomen or the inner and outer thighs. The abdomen and the thighs are treated with two separate attachments. The attachment to treat the inner and outer thighs is called FLEX. Vanquish is a non-surgical method of fat reduction. It works by heating the fat layer under the attachment area to 125º F. At this temperature fat cells are destroyed. Once the fat cells die macrophages ( which are cells like Pac-Man) transport the dead fat cells into the lymphatic system for removal. Most patients will need 4 to 6 treatment sessions and each session will be from 30 to 45 minutes. The treatment sessions are typically performed once a week. Most of our patients begin to notice improvemenet in the treated area after the second or third treatment session. It is very important to understand that this is a totally noninvasive method of fat reduction and will not achieve the same result as liposuction. The best candidate is a man or woman who has a contour bulge that they would like improved but does not want to consider surgery. Although there are no guarantees, most patients are satisfied with their Vanquish fat reduction treatments. I have had Exilis and Vanquish treatments and have been very pleased with the service. Kristina Grove is an awesome Aesthetician...one reason I make the 35 mile trip to the practice :).
