What To Expect
After the initial consultation with one of our cosmetic surgeons of Prima Center for Plastic Surgery, a complete treatment plan will be compiled. This plan may include more than one procedure. In many cases, these procedures are timed accordingly and spaced out over a specific time period. Depending on what is being performed, some can be combined in one setting. Surgical procedures will require some downtime, and some of the nonsurgical approaches (such as laser skin resurfacing) may also require a day or two at home.

Wrinkle Relaxers
The cosmetic surgeons of Prima Center for Plastic Surgery use Xeomin, a wrinkle relaxer, to help smooth wrinkles and lines on the forehead. This medication, once injected, is known to take years off of an individuals’ appearance and provide them with a newfound sense of confidence. It results in a smoother, younger looking complexion.
Wrinkle Fillers
In addition to wrinkle relaxers, our plastic surgery office also offers numerous filler options to help fill in hallow areas on the face. Wrinkle fillers can be comprised of various substances ranging from collagen to hyaluronic acid. The purpose is to create additional volume under the skin so that the surface appears fuller, younger and smooth. Fillers can be used under the eyes, in the cheeks, lips, laugh lines, and chin. The cosmetic surgeons of Prima Center for Plastic Surgery also perform fat transfers, which takes fat from one area of the body and transfers it to the face, which some prefer as it is a more natural approach. A combination of wrinkle relaxers and wrinkle fillers can give the face a youthful glow, which can greatly boost self-esteem.
Skin Rejuvenation
To correct skin irregularities caused by aging, smoking and sun damage, there are numerous skin rejuvenation procedures can help even out skin tone and provide a smooth appearance. Some men may benefit from having a skin resurfacing laser treatment, or combining it with a chemical peel or dermabrasion. These help to remove sunspots, blemishes, acne, scarring, fine lines and wrinkles.
Facial Surgery
Some men will desire to have facial surgery to improve their facial appearance. While surgery is more invasive, the result can be quite dramatic and long lasting. Popular procedures among men include brow lift surgery to create a more alert and “awakened” appearance. Eyelid surgery can also create this effect, and can help address loose skin on the upper eyes and deep bulges or bags under the eyes. Chin augmentation is also very common. By using a chin implant, this procedure can create a sharper, more masculine profile. The results are outstanding for our patients.
