I was introduced to Dr. Kumbla at a very scary time in my life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2024, and chose double mastectomy. At first I wanted to go flat, but then after my breast surgeon and other doctor friends explained all the options available for patients in my situation I changed my mind and went with double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. Dr. Kumbla was recommended to me by my breast surgeon, and I'm so glad she did. From the moment I met her I felt at ease. She is very well spoken, explains everything in detail, and gave me a chance to ask questions. The fact that she had worked with numerous breast cancer patients like me was more reassuring. She understood the fears I had, and answered all the questions. Surgery day was the most scary day of my life! It was a two part surgery, starting with a breast surgeon, and then doctor Kumbla took over to start the reconstruction process. After the surgery she made sure I was okay, she came to see me the next day before I was discharged from the hospital. She continued to follow up after I went home, and I was able to reach her directly with any issues I had. Since breast reconstruction involves multiple steps, I have been seeing her for many months, and I just had my second exchange surgery few weeks ago, and I am pleased with the results. I still need some more work before I complete the reconstruction, and I would not trust anybody else other than Dr. Kumbla. Not only she is good at what she does, but very compassionate and relatable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is in need. More

I am beyond thrilled with my experience with Dr. Kumbla and the incredible results of my procedures. I was referred to her by my sister-in-law after having had breast implants for 18 years. Due to complications with my previous surgeons, I was extremely cautious about selecting the right surgeon for my needs. From the moment I met Dr. Kumbla, I knew I had made the right choice. She thoroughly examined my chest, carefully explained her process, and took the time to address all of my concerns. Instead of simply replacing my implants, I chose to undergo an explant with a lift—a decision I’m so grateful for. After that procedure, I also had a second surgery to address diastasis recti, during which we discussed the option of fat transfer to my breasts. The results from that procedure were absolutely amazing. A year later, I returned for the second part of my mommy makeover, which involved liposuction on my abdomen. We initially delayed this step due to concerns about skin complications, but once again, Dr. Kumbla provided thoughtful and careful guidance, leading me to a third procedure with her. The results have been life-changing, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Having worked with male plastic surgeons in the past, I often felt that my concerns weren’t fully heard. Dr. Kumbla, however, has an impeccable bedside manner. She was always available to answer any questions and followed up with me daily to ensure everything was progressing well. She explains every step of the process clearly and makes sure I feel supported and understood at all times. I cannot recommend Dr. Kumbla enough. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication to her patients are truly unmatched. Lastly, the entire staff at Primacenter made the entire process so much easier. From the anesthesiologist Dr. Appel to the operating room nurse Sarah, everyone was incredibly helpful and put my mind at ease. Last year I followed through with one of the best decisions I had ever made, which was to have a breast reduction.
