"I am so pleased to have the opportunity to give a review from a husband’s perspective of the amazing work that Dr. Kumbla did for my wife. Dr. Kumbla’s surgical wisdom, amazing warmth, clear communication, and compassionate care, combined to create a true white glove experience for us throughout our journey with her. But let’s start at the beginning.Six months before my wife’s 50th birthday, she announced to me that she wanted to look fit and fabulous on her special day and wanted to have a breast lift and augmentation. From my perspective my wife was more than adequately endowed and looked amazing. From her perspectives, however, she wanted to “look nicer” on vacation in her bathing suits.She researched other doctors, but Dr. Kumbla (or Dr. K as we call her) came highly recommended by someone in her medical spa. In our first meeting with Dr. K, we immediately understood why. She started by asking us lots of questions to better understand our why, our vision, and the things that were important to us. When we asked questions, she didn’t respond with “doctor speak”: the typical medical jargon that would always make you feel like they were the expert, and you were the idiot. Instead, she explained things in simple and clear language, responded with compassion, and assured us that she would be with us every step of the way. We had no idea, at the time, what those words really meant and how different a medical experience we were about to have.To start, scheduling the surgery was not a simple task. We are avid travelers, taking trips 5-6 times a year, so scheduling the surgery between trips was like trying to thread a very fine needle. Dr. K’s staff did the impossible, they were able to juggle their surgery calendar to allow our surgery to occur days after one trip while allowing the required time before the next. We were so pleased.During our pre-op visit, we walked away with all the clarity we needed to be fully prepared for the surgery and the post-surgery healing. We also had the final discussions about size and shape, and Dr. K even encouraged us to share pictures with her of the desired end point.Based on the guidance we received from the pre-op visit, we made changes to our home to make those first two weeks post-surgery much more comfortable for my wife.Though the surgery was over five hours, Dr. K’s staff kept me notified every step of the way as I kept myself distracted in the waiting room working on my computer. When Dr. K came out and described to me the success of the surgery, I must confess to dropping a tear or two of grateful relief.Dr. K personally called the next morning to check in on the patient. Then again 2 days later. She happened to be in the area one afternoon in the first week, and she came by for a house call! (What doctor does this these days?)An additional nice feature of Dr. K’s approach is that you pay one price, and all the pre- and post-surgery activities are included. She wants you to be happy and she does everything she can pre- and post-surgery to make that happen.At this point, we are over four months post-surgery, and my wife couldn’t be happier with the results and with the journey getting. Dr. K and her staff create a truly handholding, white glove experience that is way beyond the current practice.We are so pleased."

At first I wanted to go flat, but then after my breast surgeon and other doctor friends explained all the options available for patients in my situation I changed my mind and went with double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction.Dr. Kumbla was recommended to me by my breast surgeon, and I'm so glad she did. From the moment I met her I felt at ease. She is very well spoken, explains everything in detail, and gave me a chance to ask questions. The fact that she had worked with numerous breast cancer patients like me was more reassuring. She understood the fears I had, and answered all the questions.Surgery day was the most scary day of my life! It was a two part surgery, starting with a breast surgeon, and then doctor Kumbla took over to start the reconstruction process. After the surgery she made sure I was okay, she came to see me the next day before I was discharged from the hospital. She continued to follow up after I went home, and I was able to reach her directly with any issues I had.Since breast reconstruction involves multiple steps, I have been seeing her for many months, and I just had my second exchange surgery few weeks ago, and I am pleased with the results. I still need some more work before I complete the reconstruction, and I would not trust anybody else other than Dr. Kumbla. Not only she is good at what she does, but very compassionate and relatable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is in need."

"I was debating getting a procedure done back in December 2022. I was nervous, scared, and asking myself if I should do it. When I first walked into Dr. Kumbla office, I was greeted with the front desk staff Brandi and her co-workers. Brandi advised she will be my schedule appointment reminder throughout the process. Everyone had smiles on their faces and provided me confort. Ms Brandi advised Dr. Kumbla is one of the best doctors. When I met Dr. Kumbla in the exam room along with her staff, they provided me comfort and answered all of my questions even if they were dumb questions. Dr. Kumbla said that she will be right by me when I fell asleep before the surgery and after I woke up. On Surgery day, my stomach were in knots, including butterflies. Dr. Kumbla and her staff advised everything will be just fine. After the surgery was successful completed, I had minor complications when I woke up, which resulted me going to the hospital for a few days. While I was getting better, Dr. Kumbla came to see me every single day until I got out of the hospital. I am very grateful I put my trust in Dr. Kumbla and her staff (tearing up). She is the best including her staff and I got the best results thanks to her. I will definitely use her again for procedures in the near future. She is an incredibly gifted surgeon - I have had no issues with stitches breaking down, wound healing, etc. Dr. Kumbla looks at the surgery holistically & provides recommendations on pre-surgery prep including diet & medication as well as post-op. "Hi, I actually set out to be a patient of Dr. OKORO he was fully booked and referred me to Dr. Kumbla. My God I am happy that he did, she is absolutely awesome, professional, knowledgeable, and transparent. Takes the time to explain the process and her openness for any questions and concerns you may have without feeling rushed, is at the least..refreshing. She is kind, thorough, and her bed side manner is impeccable. During your recovery she checks on you to be sure that you are doing well and don't have any issues, for me that is a big deal. I had the Abdominoplasty with muscle repair and Liposuction 17 days ago and so far the results are amazing and it will be more so within the next few months, and my recovery has been very smooth! "I don’t know where to start when speaking about my experience with Dr. Kumbla and the Georgia Plastics team. There’s so many great things to say. Let me give you an example. Have you ever wanted something to eat so bad, but you don’t know what it is that you are wanting? Then go into a restaurant and the staff treats you as if you are the most important customer they’ve had. I mean VIP treatment off the top! Then you sit down and eat the best food you have ever had. It’s soul pleasing! You can tell that the chef put their “foot” (aka their heart) in that food! Now you may be wondering- what does this have to do with Dr. Kumbla and GA Plastics. Well, Dr. Kumbla is the chef. You can tell she loves what she does. She is so informative that I never have any questions for her. She’s patient, silly, and kind. "Healed, shaped well, and my small incision sites are almost faded away - I stay in pretty good shape but through the aging process (and some laziness on my own part) I was stuck with some stubborn love handles. I spoke with Dr. Kumbla and after the consultation quickly booked the procedure. I was awake for the lipo and the feeling was more interesting than painful (some parts actually tickled a little. It was a very neat experience) and the soreness didn't last very long. We are now 6 months post procedure and everything seems long past being healed, shaped well, and my small incision sites are almost faded away. The whole thing was easy and I would have no fear of doing it again."

"I was debating getting a procedure done back in December 2022. I was nervous, scared, and asking myself if I should do it. When I first walked into Dr. Kumbla office, I was greeted with the front desk staff Brandi and her co-workers. Brandi advised she will be my schedule appointment reminder throughout the process. Everyone had smiles on their faces and provided me confort. Ms Brandi advised Dr. Kumbla is one of the best doctors. When I met Dr. Kumbla in the exam room along with her staff, they provided me comfort and answered all of my questions even if they were dumb questions. Dr. Kumbla said that she will be right by me when I fell asleep before the surgery and after I woke up. On Surgery day, my stomach were in knots, including butterflies. Dr. Kumbla and her staff advised everything will be just fine. After the surgery was successful completed, I had minor complications when I woke up, which resulted me going to the hospital for a few days. While I was getting better, Dr. Kumbla came to see me every single day until I got out of the hospital. I am very grateful I put my trust in Dr. Kumbla and her staff (tearing up). She is the best including her staff and I got the best results thanks to her. I will definitely use her again for procedures in the near future. "Amazing job on upper bleph for excess skin - little/no downtime & pain - Dr. Kumbla did an amazing job on my upper bleph. It was done in the comfort of the office under local. I returned to work on lite duty the next day. I had little to no down time, and no pain. My stitches came out on day 11. I highly recommend getting this done if you are unhappy with your eyelids.
