I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Song and his team. I walked in nervous and worried he might tell me I wasn’t a good candidate for what I wanted to have done. He did the opposite. I sat in his office crying tears of joy when he calmly and with great care explained what he could and could not do to help my body that had been through significant weight loss. I walked out (after 2 surgeries/4 procedures a few months apart) the most confident and comfortable in my skin (albeit lots less of it!) than I’ve ever been. My life is forever changed thanks to Dr. Song. Bonus points for his nurses who are super caring and make you feel really safe and zen. Same for the anesthesiologists. DR, Song, is the best. I am an 18 year breast cancer survivor, my breast were uneven, I had weight loss surgery and with the lost weight my breast were very noticeably uneven and I was self conscience of the way I looked. I went to 3 consultation before going to Prima and they each said they couldn’t touch the radiated breast with no other suggestions or options. Dr. Song, however, gave me options, I went with reduction of my right breast to match my left breast and a lift on both with liposuction. While my surgery was a challenge for him he because of the the way the lumpectomy left my left breast so deformed, he mastered it successfully, I love the outcome and feel great I am 3 weeks post op. He is very attentive and knowledgeable and precise. He is thorough and explains the procedures completely with the good and the bad. I would for sure be going back to Dr. Song for my next procedure. So instead of taking a trip to Miami or out of the country I was referred to Prima. Someone recommended Dr. Song to me and I’m so glad he turned out to be the one to SNATCH my waistline!!!!! I had abdominoplasty and Lipo around my waist. He sculpted me so beautifully! I made sure to do everything that he told me to do… you want to make sure you take care of the investment!! Consultation - tummy tuck & breast lift with removal of axillary tissue. - Had the privilege to consult with Dr. Song this afternoon for a plethora of issues that need reconstruction: botched extended tummy tuck redo, botched breast lift redo w/ axillary tissue removal, correct asymmetry of botched back lipo, and additional arm & thigh lift.Due to the severity of the complications I had with the procedures performed overseas, Dr. Song advised to begin my reconstruction journey by attacking my anterior body; tummy tuck & breast lift with removal of axillary tissue. He emphasized that he would not be flipping over (face down), in other words, he would not perform lipo or excise skin from my back during my 1st surgery. This would potentially fall in phase 2/3, contingent upon successful healing of my abdominal & breast redos. Due to my sleep apnea my surgeries would need to be performed at the hospital.Unfortunately, I currently do not have a belly button due to my previous botched experience and Dr. Song explained that we would not even attempt to create a new belly button (neo umbilicus) at this point in order to curtail potential blood circulation/infection issues. This one was a hard pill to swallow because I've been waiting for a new belly button since I got botched in mid-2000's. Also, he advised against me getting implants along with my breast lift redo (due to potential rejection of foreign object). 2 months post-op - wanted a natural look and he delivered - I chose Dr. Song for my mommy makeover surgery and I couldn’t be more pleased with not only my results but the whole entire experience! As nervous as I was about the process and procedure, it was very difficult to remain in that space once you step foot into the facility. Everyone was so warm kind and welcoming. Happy repeat patient - Happy for the 3rd time - This is my 3rd procedure performed by Dr. Song, and I'm happy for the 3rd time. I just got my breast reduction/lift with implants exchange (smaller). This has been a very easy recovery, with little pain. The only pain was from the liposuction to the underarms. My scar looks really good considering I have keloid skin. More

For years I struggled with mid section weight gain in the lower belly. No matter how many diets, exercise, healthy eating, counting carbs/macros I couldn’t even make a dent in the lower belly. It was depressing to say the least. I decided to look into a Tummy Tuck. Had several consultations with different surgeons. My concern was safety #1. I didn’t want a doctor to cut corners or a doctor that was all about IG likes and followers. When I met Dr Song I knew I would be safe. He also told me no diet or exercise would free me of the bottom belly area that it would need to be surgically removed. I didn’t really set any expectations because in my mind ANYTHING would be better than what I was currently living with. Now 6 weeks post op from TT/MR/Lipo to flanks and under chin and I not only look AMAZING but I feel even better than I look. My midsection speaks for its self. Getting Back to Me After 3 Sweet Babies! - I’ve been wanting a tummy tuck ever since after I had my first c-section and my OBGYN looked at my stomach and said “the only way you’re going to loose your stomach is to have a tummy tuck.” I had three c-sections and with the first two weighing in at 9lbs 0.2 oz and 9lb 3oz. My last baby was the smallest at 8lb 9oz. Each baby was 28 months after the last.I had a breast reduction by a different surgeon two years ago and afterwards I only saw my belly. I researched several doctors, read countless reviews, searched the end of YouTube for videos and finally chose Dr. Song.My initial consult was April 27, 2021. I arrived alone at Prima Center for Plastic Surgery and was greeted by Stacy. I eventually was taken to the back by Adriana she explained everything that was going to happen during the consult, had me undress and she took photos.Dr Song came in shortly after and explained the procedure, asked questions, performed an assessment and told me what type of tummy tuck I was a candidate for. He was thorough and made it very clear he was not going to flip me over on the table and was not going to perform back lipo. He showed me a video of the process and showed the areas he is going to lipo (the flanks), answered my questions and that was basically it.After he left, Jessica came in and explained the pricing, provided the quote and advised me to call when I was ready to schedule. I paid $75 for the consultation and was told if I choose Dr. Song the $75 will go towards the overall cost of the surgery.I left feeling glad my questions were answered but a little uncertain at the same time. I questioned do I want lipo of my back rolls? Why wouldn’t he flip me over? After giving it much thought, my expectation was to have a natural looking tummy. I don’t want the “Instagram model” look. I don’t want to look overly liposuctioned if that makes sense. I came back to Real Self, reviewed his reviews and photos again, discussed it my husband, my best friend and a few others close to me and then decided I’m going to go for it!I called on May 4, 2021 to schedule the surgery. Mommy Time… - I have 74 days before my tummy tuck. I would love to have it sooner, but I’m not going to push it because I want to lose some weigh. Thirty pounds would be awesome. I want to make sure I get the best results and I don’t want to worry about losing more weight after my surgery. I’ve really worked my but off. I walked 6 miles almost everyday, with the exception of Sundays. I also swam twice a week and did Zumba twice a week. As far as my diet, I cut back to 1200 calories per day and burn on average 2000 calories per day. This week, I cut back to 1000 calories and plan to juice until my pre-op, next week. During this week, I will probably cut back on the exercising and have one super healthy meal a day. I’m juicing beets, pineapples, spinach, oranges, ginger, and turmeric. So, I will juice and drink water all day and eat one small healthy meal before 6:00pm. And I plan to get plenty of rest and sleep; don’t want to tax my body too much. Oh yeah, also taking multivitamins. I purchased a few supplies for post-op care, but don’t want to over do it. Any suggestions? I already have Juven, foams, hibclens, pads for incision, loose fitting open in front dress, robe, and slide on shoes.Updated on 26 Aug 2021:I had my pre-op today. Everything went well. Adriana answered all of my questions before I met with Dr. Song. I went ahead an paid extra for the Exparel; just in case. Better safe than sorry. I hope it really makes a difference. I’m also getting a revision on my arm lift from two years ago. I’ve lost more weight in my arms and could really do without the extra skin. Not really sure how I’m going to get up and down without using my arms with a TT. Two years ago when it was just my arms, I relied heavily on my core muscles to scoot in and out of bed and seated positions. This is going to be interesting. I go for my 6 month checkup in a few weeks; I’m really excited. I love my results. I haven’t seen my stomach this flat in 19 years. My incisions healed really well. I started going to the gym 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, I tried to do some ab workouts but wasn’t able to do a single on and I had it on the lowest setting, 5 lbs. So I get I’ll be taking it easy. Maybe even start with yoga or Pilates. I did however do a few Zumba classes with no problem. Any suggestions on ab workouts after a tummy tuck would be great. More
Finally losing the twin skin (ETT, BA, lipo to flanks, back, and chin) - I am a mama to 3. My oldest are twins. I gained 50lbs during my pregnancy with them, from week 20 until delivery at 38 weeks. Of those 50lbs I gained in just 18 weeks, I lost 42lbs in the 2 weeks after delivery. My belly skin NEVER recovered. I've spent the last 8 years feeling trapped in this skin. Updated on 24 May 2021: Many of you guys asked for an update! Well, I LOVE IT HERE! I still have little to no swelling and not having to wear my compression as much. All of my incisions are completely healed and as of now, I’m 5weeks and 3 days post-op. I’m just working on my scars with silicone tape. I will post pics later this week when I change them out. My breast went from a 42H to a 38DD. I lost 10lbs prior to surgery and have lost an additional 10lbs since surgery. Looking for the FLAT SIDE!!! - Where do I start now...I stalked Realself when I had my breast done. I heard great things about doctors in Miami (as long as you can withstand the wait times). Now I'm baaaack for a tummy tuck!! I wanted to go to Dr. Hunsaker (or however you spell it) at C.G. Cosmetics. However, I have heard so many horror stories where patients needed to go back to their original doctor due to whatever complications they were having. That's an 11 hour drive for me and I wouldn't be able to stay more than 5 days. Soooo I researched doctors in Atlanta, GA and found quite a few but none with CONSISTANT work! That was very important to me. That's how I found Dr. Song. I came across a few reviews from women who had seen him and I was always looking at their pics like "WOW"!! I even went to the website and pulled up Tummy Tuck before and after pics of his and his colleagues and let me tell you, Dr. Song can work miracles!!! Now I'm a thick chick weighing in now at 215 lbs so I thought I wasn't even going to be a candidate. I am 5'4", so I'm thick and short LOL!! I was nervous to even reach out to a doctor because I felt I would be rejected and be turned away due to my BMI being over 30. Not Dr. Song. When I have my verbal consultation with him on yesterday 10.1.2020, he made me feel so comfortable. I sent in my pics to his office last week and got contacted by his PA Cindy (who is sooo lovely and sweet). I paid the $75 consultation fee after completing paperwork with her and sending pics. (sorry for being all over the place). Buuut back to speaking to Dr. Song. The call lasted about 10 mins and he discussed the procedure in great detail. Everything from the cut and lipo and his expectations. He can see my true figure under these layers of blubber and he advised me that he can meet my expectations. The only extra thing I would have to work on is this bra roll. Ewww I hate that about my back but I really started working out and jogging again very recently. I just gotta keep it up. I got my quote this morning and there are a few things I want to discuss before I post the quote. I'm looking to get snatched in January 2021 (my birthday month). 32 yo Mom of two, Mommy Makeover - I'm a 32 yo Mom, of two precious kids. I breastfed both babies and lets just say, they left my boobs looking like "quarters in a tube sock". Lol I've had a very hard time getting my body back from pregnancy and I've been considering this surgery for years. My surgery was January 3, 2020. I had a breast lift with 450cc in each implant, tummy tuck w muscle repair and lipo to sides, mons area and under arms.As I'm starting this review, I'm only 2wpo but already sooooo happy with my results and I cannot wait to see where I am at the 6 month mark! Dr. Song is extraordinary! I could not have picked a better surgeon. His work is precise and beautiful, while his bedside manner is even better! Pick Dr Song! - Dr Song charges reasonable prices and treats you like his one and only surgery case. At my consult in March 2020, he showed me a video of the tummy tuck (TT) and lipo (upper stomach and flanks) procedure. He was honest that without getting the back lipo, I would still have the back rolls that I walked in with. That was fine because I never wanted a vixen look. I just wanted my body back from 10 years ago. I signed consent forms and I paid the deposit to have surgery in May. The next day Covid 19 exploded everywhere and I was sick to my stomach . But I had faith that everything would work out. And it did! Lockdown was lifted May 1st, mandatory Covid 19 testing came back negative a week before surgery. Pre op was 10 days before surgery; because I was having surgery at the his surgery center, I didn’t have to do pre op blood tests, pcp clearance or xrays. I am 36 yrs old, fairly healthy mom of 4 so I didn’t mind. I had a full workup a few months ago previously my pcp anyway. At preop I was given my prescriptions including 10 blood thinner syringes that I had to self administer (I hate needles but you barely feel it). I had gained weight over the quarantine and he voluntarily said he’d do some back lipo for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! That’s how you know the Dr cares about the final result, not just money! I was nervous the day of surgery but his nurses were great! So nice and accommodating! The pain was excruciating after surgery but it’s major surgery. The nurse gave me one Percocet post op but it did nothing. Just be prepared Dr Song told me after surgery that it would all be worth it and it was! He even called and texted me on a Sunday evening to make sure the pharmacist fixed my pain prescriptions!!! I have my body back and self esteem on 1000. I was back working at my home desk job a week after surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr Song for TT/lipo!!!Updated on 24 Aug 2020:If you are a curvy girl like me, have your stage 1 Faja ready to get into after surgery. Dr Song gave me a binder to wear but it kept riding into my waist. Right on my TT scar. He gave me the stage 1 faja a week PO and the nurse put it on me at the appt. I felt soooooo much better wearing the Faja under the binder. If I had the faja sooner, the swelling wouldn’t haven’t gotten so bad. More

Thank you Dr. Mike Song! - I have been wanting a mommy makeover for several years. I workout at least 3 days a week but I could never get rid of the loose skin on my stomach that came from my pregnancies. While researching mommy makeovers I came across this site and I'm so grateful that I did. There was one doctor that really stood out to me (Dr. Mike Song) so inboxed the women that had work done by him. They assured me that I didn't need to search any further. I called Prima Center for Plastic Surgery last May 2019,and immediately knew that I made the right choice. Cindy was my coordinator, she's professional, sweet and hilarious. The entire staff is wonderful. On July 12th, 2020 I flew from Ohio to Georgia. And on July 13, 2020 I finally got to put the voices with the faces when I went for my pre op appointment. Dr. Song is down to earth, he really cares about his patients. The butterflies in my stomach went away after I met him. I knew after meeting him, my nurse Jessica and my anesthesiologist Adriana that I was going to love my results. Due to Covid everyone including myself had on masks from the beginning until the end. I loved how the staff handled the Covid situation, they didn't allow anyone in the lobby, they took my temperature as soon as I walked in the door. All of their attention was focused on me. My surgery was on July 16, 2020 just a few weeks ago, one of the happiest days of my life. The only thing I remember from that day is walking into Prima Center excited than waking up in my Airbnb looking down at my hot body lol!! I do remember Dr.Song calling my friend which was my caregiver to check on me and he gave us his cell phone number to call or text if we needed him. I'm still impressed by that. She had the TRAM flap.My mom was very nervous about having the surgery, but got excited when she found out that she was getting a free tummy tuck as well.My mom had a problem with anxiety, and Dr. Song helped her along the way.Dr Song is the most compassionate doctor that I have ever known. He made my mom feel like she took top priority. He took the time for her.Soooo, me being jealous of my moms perfect boobs, I just had to get mines done too! I was treated with the same importance as my mom. Dr Song explained to me the whole procedure in its entirety.He did a marvelous job! Unfortunately, three years later, my left breast deflated for some reason. I have saline, so it was ok. I called the office and made an appointment. When I went to this appointment, I was so emotional. I hadn't been there since my mom had passed. Dr. Song saw me crying and started crying right with me.He told me that my boobs were still under warranty. He waived his fee, and said that I just had to pay for the fee for the surgery area and anesthesia! What an awesome doctor.Anesthesia is expensive and he asked if I wanted to do the reimplantation with only local. I said "yes."The day of surgery, I was numbed up and didn't feel a darn thing! I've dedicated my all to my kids and now that they are of age I decided that for my big 40th birthday I will do something for myself. After doing my research on a few doctors I came across dr. Song. I called and made my conclusion (75.00 fee) (1-17-2020) to meet with him for a tummy tuck muscle repair and lipo of the flanks. The facility was nice and quiet also very clean the staff was very professional and well mannered they even offered me water or soda of course I took the soda lol! Once in the back, they took pictures then dr. Song came in and did the examination he went over everything and answered all my questions with no hesitation. At the door they have someone taking your temperature before you go any further. Once in the back I changed into the gown Dr Song assist Adriana came in took my hemo, blood pressure and temperature again then she went over the drain info and after care she also gave me my prescriptions (63.00 with insurance). After that Dr Song came in to to another exam and to answer any other questions i had. The whole process took about 30 minutes. More

I am 5 weeks post op and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Song and his nurse. My abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) went perfectly and I am ecstatic with my results. Updated on 30 Dec 2018: This update includes pics that were taken from Dec. 2 (3 days post-op), through Dec 27 (4 weeks post-op). I took pic along the way and chose to post them all at the same time, to show progression from when the swelling was starting to kick in, to the drains being removed, and then results after 1 month. Other than swelling, the worst parts of the first month was giving myself Lovenox injections for the first 10 days and dealing with the drains. I’m a Registered Nurse but it is not very easy inhecting yourself, lol. That is why I’m very careful and as gentle as can be with my patients. Hope you enjoy this update. Sorry for the nudity in some of the pics, if anyone is offended by it. Updated on 29 Jan 2019: I’m doing quite well 2 months after my surgery. Healing nicely. I still use Maderma Stretch Marks Therapy and Bio-Oil daily. I tried using Embrace Active Scar Defense on my incision but it was too harsh for my skin. I removed it after only 2 days because blisters started to form on my skin along the edges of the adhesive. Currently, I use Maderma Advanced Scar Gel. As far as swelling goes, I still get mild swelling sometimes in the evenings but nothing serious. I have included a pic of the waist trainer I wear (most) days. I don’t sleep in it, I usually don’t wear any compression while sleeping unless I feel like I need it- like when I have more swelling at the end of the day. My waist trainer has four latches, I usually wear it on the second setting. I can wear it on the fourth latch but for now, the second latch is more comfortable. Updated on 29 Jan 2019: This urinal device helped soooo much during the first few weeks post op, when trying to keep tension off your surgical site! You won’t have to sit down to tinkle! I saw this on someone else’s review and decided to order it. I can’t remember their profile name, but THANK YOU!!! It was a lifesaver. Take my advice and get yourself one of these!! His assistant Adrianna is absolutely wonderful. I'm an out of town patient, so my travel to the office was limited... Dr Song and team accommodated my request for visits. Every phone call and email I sent with questions Andrianna answered immediately!! I had the best care with this team! Most importantly I'm pleased with my result!! 6 weeks post OP, I'm so happy! Tummy Tuck Scar Revision - Dr. Song performed my tummy tuck on May 17, 2018 & at my 6 month check up in November There was an area of extra skin present that bothered me, I felt like it could be flatter. Dr Song said that he could do a local procedure to remove that area. Once I arrived on yesterday he marked the area & I pointed out 2 areas of my tummy tuck scar that were really thick he said let's fix that also. The entire procedure lasted about an hour & a half. I was awake the whole time, the numbing part was hell. I'm in some pain now but I'm dealing with it. Dr. Song is a perfectionist & he definitely wants his patients to be happy. Right now the area is bandaged as soon as my stitches are removed I will post a before & after. Consultation scheduled! - So after 6 months of hardcore research, I have chosen Dr. Song to perform my Tummy Tuck. Not only are his credentials super impressive...his reviews, before and afters and his recommendations are phenomenal. He’s the only surgeon I’ve scheduled a consult with because I’m certain he’s right for me. I also live in Duluth, really close to his office so that’s a plus. This site has helped me so much so I wanted to post my journey here as well to help someone else. My appt is 2/12/19. The price for the consult is $75 and this will be applied to the cost of your procedure. I’m hoping to have my surgery sometime in April so let the countdown begin! Tummy tuck, MR, lipo of flanks - I am SO glad I did this surgery and went with Dr. Song. From the consult, to the Pre-op, post ops and results I am VERY happySeptember 13 I had my TT... it was $7500 but I did add exparel (which was $400). That price including everything (including a binder and 2 compression garments). I had to pay for my prescriptions but insurance covered most of it.I just had my 2 week post op yesterday. Everything is healing well and I am feeling really good .. recovery was not as bad as I thought it would be. Pictures are day of surgery and two weeks after. Here are a few things with recovery that I didn’t expect (but it is still SO worth it and I will do it again)- bloating and swelling for me slowed down around month 6 or 7. At month 12 I swell/bloat around that time of month or I if went super intense on a workout that involved a lot of core, plyo etc.-My stomach is still numb-ish. I can now feel it but nothing close to before the surgery -stomach still feels tight (like I am wearing a girdle inside ... which technical I am). Most of the time it doesn’t bother me. Highly Recommend Dr. Song - I had lots of loose skin in my pannus area from weight loss and carrying twins. Dr. Song was knowledgable, kind, and took his time with me. He and his staff made the whole process feel seamless and I'm thrilled with my results. I am now able to wear bottoms without having to cover my lower abdomen. The recovery time was much less than anticipated and I was back to work within a month. The first two weeks post op were the hardest, but it was worth it! Dr. Song's bedside manner is impeccable and he truly cares for his patients. His nurses, Adriana & Kate, were super sweet and made me feel as ease while I was in the office. Surgery done! I can't wait to see what's underneath the binder. - Hello all, I had my tummy tuck surgery with Dr. Song on 7/26 with the Exparel shot. Today I am 3 days post op and for the most part I feel okay. The binder gets really uncomfortable overnight and I feel really tight, but that's to be expected. Thankfully, I only received one drain and it's already slowing down. So far, so good and I'm happy I went through with it. I can't wait to see what's underneath the binder. I'm still taking all my meds along with 1000 mg of vitamin C and my vitamin B complex. Has anyone experienced a bubbly type feeling in their stomach post op? This started yesterday near the pubic line but I've also felt it in the middle. More
Loving my Tummy - If you are considering a Tummy Tuck I would definitely suggest it. Best money I have ever spent. The only think I don’t like is the swelling. It’s been about 3 months and I do still get swelling especially at the end of the day so wear your garment. Dr. Song did a great job. The recovery wasn’t bad at all. I was back at work in 12 days. Standard Tummy Tuck and lipo of the Flanks - I been researching for long time on TT, I was told by my liver Dr. not to go overseas as this is an important surgery, I came across Primacare Duluth on the American Association of Plastic Surgery, I started checking on pics for different Drs. and the pictures for Dr. Song caught my eyes, well I did a lot of search online and I end it up on real self, wow comments on this blog makes me positive about what I will go through! I made it to the flat side! - I had a tummy tuck/muscle repair/lipo. My expeirence was great. I arrived at 0630, my vitals were taking, changed into gown and footies, urine pregnancy test completed. Dr.Song came in and marked me up, then the anesthesiologist came and started the iv, waited about 10mins, nurse came in and escorted me to the or. Climbed onto sx table, laid down, nurse said lift your leg let move this pillow under your knees and then i woke up in the recovery room. My goodness that anesthesia sleep is the bomb! Nurse helped me get dressed to go pee, sat on toilet what to me seemed like 5 mins, although my cousin says it was more like 30 mins, still no pee. So they take me back to the recovery room and place a foley, which was unpleasent. Then we were off to home, cousin helped me up the stairs, medicated me and i was off to lala land for a couple hours, woke up walked, ate and took medications, then back to sleep, this was my routine for the first week. 6 days later back at docs office and he says my drains can come out, lawd i was a scardy cat. The nurse removed the right one relatively no problem, but my gosh the left one was extremely tender, so much so i had her arm in a vice grip. After the trauma i finally got a look at my flat stomach, i had not seen her like this since 1990! I have to say dr. Song was very professional and patient, he did not try to up sale me, infact i wanted more lipo on my back. But he said i can do it, but since it has been done before you wont see much difference! The worst part of this process is and was the suture and drain removal. If i had to do it again , there would be no hesitation!!!! More

I literally have never allowed anyone to see my stomach, not even my boyfriends or mother. TT with lipo and MR finally did it! - Hi guys! I want to share my experience with the amazing dr. Mike Song. This website was so helpful to me so it’s only right that I add my review. I had my surgery on 2/28/19 with dr. Song in Duluth,Ga. the whole team was amazing. Very professional and caring. Dr songbsat down with me and explained the procedure and addressed any questions. On the day of the procedure everything went so fast and smooth! I was terrified as this was my first surgery, and Dr. Song and the anesthesiologist made me feel much calmer. Also Dr. Songs assistant Adrianna was so warm and caring. I woke up in my garment however I can already tell that I’m definitely on the flat side! After 22 Years......I’M FINALLY GETTING MY FLAT TUMMY BACK!!! - Attached are photo’s of the short sets I purchased from Walmart to wear following surgery for about $11 each (shorts were $6.88 and the tanks were a little over $4). I also attached a photo of drain holders that I want to purchase from Jessica M. Creation. I came across these holders while following Shelita Prioleau Youtube channel where she takes you on her tummy tuck journey. Her page is very informative and I learned quite a bit. Her surgery was less than 2 weeks ago so I continue to wish her a very speedy and pain free recovery. Any other information I may come across that can help the next I will share! More

I like that his belly buttons look so good, his scar placement is low, and so far pretty straight for the most part. I’m 15 days post op and I have had the best experience and recovery. Amazing Results! - I am 4 months post op tummy tuck, muscle repair and liposuction to arms, flanks and back. I chose Dr. Song mostly based on his reviews so I felt it is only right that I write one as well. I also loved the fact that the pictures of his work showed low, symmetric scars and natural looking belly buttons. I can say that his work exceeded my expectations and at 4 months post op it just keeps getting better and better! Dr. Song's follow up care, concern and bedside manner is just as great as his hands on work. I would recommend him over and over again. Results Are Better Than I Ever Imagined - I had a Mommy Makeover with Dr. Song in April. I initially had consultations set up with three additional surgeons, with the Prima Center as my first appointment. I was so impressed with Dr. Song's expertise and bedside manner, that I canceled my other appointments as soon as I returned home. Excited to Get This Journey Started! Time to Do for Myself! - After searching and reviewing many doctors I have finally made the decision to have my surgery with Dr. Song. I went for my consultation on June 29, 2018 and made my deposit on July 10, 2018. Dr. Song and his staff were very nice and did not rush me through the consult. Dr. Song is definitely the right choice for me. I will keep updating once my surgery gets closer and try to upload some photos.Updated on 13 Feb 2019:Sorry it has taken so long for me to post pics and give an update on how things went and are going so here it goes...I had my surgery Jan 10 and everything went really good. I don't remember much about the day of surgery but the day after wasn't too bad. I had plenty of help with everything which is a MUST! My daughter was really good at taking care of me. She set her alarm to go off every 5 hours to give the pain meds...this is something you should definitely do to stay on top of the pain even if you aren't hurting.....I have to say that my boobs hurt worse than my stomach...most people have problems with constipation but not me...I had diarrhea for almost a month...I guess we all react differently to things. I had no appetite for about 2 weeks, i think because i couldn't taste anything. Lol I only had to keep my drain tubes in for a week! Thank goodness because they are a pain and always in the way. I was also back at work after 12 days however, I do have an office job that is not too demanding.Everyday it gets better. I am still sore and just had to have a couple of stitches removed from my belly button that protruded through and was causing my belly button to have some drainage.I have to say I am very pleased with Dr Song. He is always pleasant at my visits and his work is really good. I know I made the right choice.I'm not the best at writing reviews and I have not been that good at taking photos but I will post a few that I have. 36 Year Old, 168 Lbs, 3 Kids, 2 C-sections Muscle Repair, Tummy Tuck, Lipo, Hernia Repair, Breast Implants - After reviewing several reviews and looking at several before and after pictures, I decided that Dr. Song would be the best doctor. In the beginning, I was considering Dr. Sumanth Pagadala, MD in Columbus, Ga, but notice that he had a lot of concerns by his patience’s. Since I was currently in the process of moving to GA from CA, I decided to do an email consultation. On March 1, 2018, I called into Dr. Song office an asked if I could email photos instead of coming into the office and one of the office staff members took my info and deposit of 75.00 and advised me of the email to send in my photos and someone should contact me within 48 hrs. I get a call the next morning by Dr. Song Nurse Assistant and let’s just say the turnaround time was like Wow. Ms. Wanda was very nice and listen to all my concerns and took notes to have Dr. Song look over. I’m requesting to have (Tummy Tuck, Lipo, Muscle repair, Hernia repair, and silicone breast implants) and the price give was well in my budget. I paid my deposit of $750 to reserve my surgery date which is scheduled for April 27, 2018. I finally got to meet with Dr. Song, for my per- op on March 27, 2018 and just let’s say he’s very professional and explain everything about what will take place during my surgery. He informed me that my Diastasis Recti “(Abdominal Muscle Separation)”, was very bad and it will require him to double stitch me. He also inform me that since my Diastasis was really bad that he wouldn’t recommend me working out for 6 months. After explaining to me about my Diastasis and the sizes of breast implants he will consider using with my body frame, he then show me slides of how each procedure will be performed will in surgery. For my procedure, I was be under for 4 ½ hours. At the time, I didn’t have any questions, so I was provided contact info for Dr. Song and his nurse assistant to contact them with any concerns I may have later. Dr. Song is amazing! - I recently had an abdomioplasty at Prima Plastic Surgery in Duluth, GA. While I was extremely nervous about the procedure, Dr Song made me feel at ease. He was super informative, upfront and very knowledgeable. I settled on him due to his Ivy League educational background and the positive vibe during the initial consultation. His bedside manner and responsiveness exceeded any expectations I could have had. The nurse, Adrianna, was also amazing. She was calm, helpful and supportive. Dr. Mike Song "He's the MANNNN"!!!! I love him. - I'm bat [RS bleep] nervous, as my original procedure was supposed to be with Dr. Cochran. Unfortunately, due to his death, I was forced to once again begin my search. Since I'd already scheduled my time off, I not only needed a surgeon as talented and blemish free as Dr. C, but one that could get me within the same time frame as my original procedure date. I'll be honest, I'm nervous, as my procedure is less than 3 weeks away, but I'm so confident with Dr. Song. Frankly speaking, I'm a bit more confident with him than I originally was going with Dr. C. Wait. Wait. Don't bash me yet! The only reason I say that is because I really hated Dr. C didn't offer Cosmet Assure. Having that extra insurance was so important to me and not having it with Dr. C.; I was pretty much just riding on a wing and a prayer. Thankfully, since Dr. Song's procedures and prices automatically come with Cosmet Assurance, I can focus on my healing and be prepared just in case there are any complications. I went in and met with Wanda, Andrea and Dr. Song last Thursday and that pretty much sealed the deal. GREAT TEAM!!! The environment was very welcoming and every question I had written down to ask, Dr. Song covered it within his consultation. Mommy Makeover- Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift - Atlanta, GA - Today was my consultation with Dr. Song. I don't know where to start. Beautiful facility, friendly staff and Dr. Song was very informative. He explained my options what procedures could be done and the amount of time it would take. I may be doing 2 surgeries, but will talk about the second one when the time comes. My surgery will consist of a tummy tuck with lipo around abdominal area and flanks as well as a breast reduction/lift. My current breast size is a 32DD. They will be reduced to a full C, I haven't had a C cup since 6th grade!! Yes I developed very fast. Dr. Song showed me photos of results I could expect for my body type. I found this very helpful! Backfat Be Gone - I chose Dr. Song due to his numerous positive views, his wealth of knowledge, willingness to answer questions, and open honesty during my consult regarding what I could expect. This journey has been a long one as I originally planned to go elsewhere. Let me take you through my process. First things, I worked out 6 days a week for the last year and have now increased to 7 with 3 days a week doing TWO a days! My issue is not necessarily lack of exercise nor diet as I tend to keep that under control. My backfat appears to partly be genetic. I originally looked at going to DR because a few of my friends went. I decided saving a few extra bucks wasn't worth dying and not being home where I can control my post-op care. I looked at Duran and a few others and the botched surgeries I saw on Facebook were too much for me. I was then looking at Fisher in Miami. I hated the way the girls in the front desk/ on the phones behaved to some degree. They were sweet in terms of getting back but they wouldn't answer any questions I had and just kept saying "okay you can book" *in a thick heavy Spanish accent* after I had my online consult. That didn't sit well and I didn't like the pressure of, he's booking early. So that led me to Dr. Song after reading a lot of his good reviews. He was patient (ha) today in answering all of my questions, we talked about some of everything from potential complications to preventing back fat in the future... He gave me a realistic expectation and discussed the fact that I may not see everything I want but will see a vast improvement. He's optimistic given my health & commitment. I was so confident in his abilities that I put down my deposit today and scheduled everything. I'm weighing in at 216 and hoping to get to 199 in the next couple weeks. I will keep you all updated. Dr. Song has been my doctor for more than 2 years and I won't go to anybody else. My first surgery was a full tummy tuck and liposuction on the sides, then I came back, about 3 months ago, for a neck liposuction and fat transfer to the face and Botox on the forehead. I recently had a tummy tuck and lipo with Dr.Song and he is awesome!! As well as the staff! I was so scared and they made me feel very comfortable and helped me get through it! I did my research before going to anyone and this is defiantly the place to go! It only took me 2 weeks to recover.. I also got my arms done a year after the tummy tuck. I got it done on Friday and was back to work Monday. Also done by Dr.Song. He is kinda shy and straight forwarded when you come in for the consult.. But that's just his personality until you get to know him. He's actually a really funny outgoing guy. I would defiantly refer my all my friends and family to come see Dr.Song. 28 Years Old - I Have a New Favorite Song - Duluth, GA - There are not enough positive words to describe my feelings about choosing Dr. Song as my surgeon. I have had an amazing experience. I am 3 weeks out and almost feel like I never had a procedure at all. - - Dr. Song is a total pro. He is precise, very professional, gentle, kind, and easy on the eyes. He texts back after hours within seconds. His assistant Alanka, is such a sweetheart and they both made me feel comfortable in such an awkward situation. My breasts are near perfect now and the contour lipo looks amazing. I also had another procedure done but I have very nosy in-laws who know my surgery date and doctors name so..... I'll just say- I read tons of reviews, stalked real self for 2 years, consulted with 5 doctors, and even 2 consultations with Dr. Song. There was NO question after meeting him that he was the one. The only negative thing about the procedure - was having to self inject blood thinning meds. Also- sleeping in a recliner is a must ;) If I ever need any type of procedure in the future I would without a doubt use Dr. Song. More

2 Big Babies Left Me Deflated. Duluth, GA - Ok so! I have found this site so helpful during all of my planning and I decided i wanted to share my mommy makeover journey and hopefully help someone that's curious just like I was. I'm having this procedure done with Dr. Mike Song of prima center in Duluth Ga on March 25th which is only 5 days away and just as I typed that out I felt my blood pressure raise, I'm super nervous about being put under but I know or at least I hope it'll all be worth it! I decided on Dr. Song after already seeing him for Botox and juvederm, so I'm already very familiar with him and his staff and I love them all, I am having a full tummy tuck with a belly button float instead of a traditional because apparently I have a high BB and the only other way to do it would be to make a small vertical incision across the hip to hip incision and that scared me a little bit plus I don't have to worry about having stitches around my BB so yay! I'm also having an anchor breast lift with somewhere around the 445 cc silicone implants, he's ordered a couple of different sizes to "try on" in the operating room, my biggest fear is not going big enough and regretting it later, He said I have a good amount of breast tissue already so I should have a nice outcome, let's hope so for mine and my poor husbands sake hehe. Speaking of my DH bless his heart he freaks out anytime I try to tell him what they're going to do to me, lucky for him he gets to take care of me for a few days then my mother is coming to stay with me for about a week, I have 2 kids 8 and 12, both of them weighing 10lbs when they were born ???? I had one natural and one c section so of course I have that cute smiley face from that on my stomach with all 7,000 stretch marks I acquired, at least I had 2 beautiful healthy babies out of it all ?? 40 Won't Catch Me with a Hangover! - Duluth, GA - My consult went very well. I consulted with other doctors closer to my home but I found Dr. Song to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. I am looking forward to the procedure. He is the MAN, and cares a bunch. He didn't want me to have to drive 2 hours to have my last drain removed so he showed my hubby. 42 - Breast Reduction, Tummy Tuck & Liposuction Oh My! - Atlanta, GA - After several consultations I picked Dr. Song. Sought insurance coverage for my breast reduction but it was specifically excluded under my policy. Bit the bullet and did private pay together with a tummy tuck. He spent so much time with me during the first consultation, after I got dressed we sat at a table in the exam room with a big monitor on which he showed me power point presentations about both surgeries and before and after pics that were similar to my body shape. I love to learn and had already done a lot of research so I asked a lot of detailed questions about why he does or doesn't do things a certain way. He seemed appreciative and started drawing me illustrations to explain things. He acted like he didn't have another place to be all day and I felt so comfortable with him. His prices are extremely competitive. I would highly recommend that you check him out. He is young (my age although he looks younger) but his training is impeccable (Harvard, Emory, Stanford) and he is double board certified in general and plastic surgery. Not at all condescending, very down to earth and very approachable. He has been fantastic throughout. So responsive during the first very tough post op week. He never left me hanging when I needed him. Totally thrilled with my results. Actually kind of sad that my next appointment isn't for a month since things are going well (currently 19 days post op). Mommy Makeover-BL, BA, TT with Muscle Repair - Duluth, GA - I can't say it enough but Dr. Song is the most caring, amazing, detail oriented person let alone doctor I've ever met. I am 2 days PO now but feel like I've know him for years. He gives his patients his cell phone number and actually answers it! No matter what time is is. I've called him twice since surgery and he is very patient and listens to my concerns. Always asks me how I'm doing. Most of my pain is coming from my back from being hunched over. Other than that my breasts and abdomen feel OK. He has a very gentle touch. Surgery took longer than expected b/c Dr. Song is a perfectionist and it shows. Although I'm swollen and no where near final results, my breasts look beautiful. After having a weird shape to them my whole life this means the world to me. Everyone at Prima is outstanding. Jenika, Alinka, Wanda, everyone is fantastic. They never hesitate to answer the gazillion questions I have and they never act rushed or bothered. Tt Procedure - Atlanta, GA - Gotta give five stars to a five star dr!! Iam so happy i chose dr.Song as my ps for my tt. I have my confidence back, im looking amazing, and im getting so many compliments. Not to brag but, he is what you call "gifted hands ". He listened to what i wanted and executed it. I chose him bc he is very trustworthy, he takes pride in his work, and loves what he does. Dr. Song was very informative with me about my tt. He adressed all the pros and cons about my procedure.
