There are not enough stars or words that can describe how THANKFUL I am for Dr. Song and his team. About four months before coming to Prima Care I was experiencing pain and tightness in my breasts (I had implants at the time). I went to my OB and I had a mammogram done; which was normal. The pain continued and other symptoms were starting to develop (difficulty moving toes and cramping in foot). I went to several doctors they ran tests and results were normal. I felt frustrated and no one was listening. In 2008, Prima Center did my implants and I decided to take a leap of faith to call for a consultation and hoping that I someone would listen; not just hear words. The nurse who answered the phone was very helpful and I was surprised that they still had my information on file. She was encouraging and supportive. I hung up with a good feeling. At my consultation, I met with Dr. Song. From the moment he arrived in the room, he took the time to really listen to everything I had to say before he asked questions or spoke his thoughts. He sat down with me and made me feel comfortable with what was going on and did not dismiss the pain I was experiencing or how frustrated I was feeling. Once I was finished, he explained his thoughts and after his examination he recommended that I have the implants removed. Fast forward to surgery day, Adriana was my nurse. She was very professional, supportive and helpful. The entire surgical team was very professional and made sure that I was comfortable. As well as my husband. And, all the post information was explained throughly to him. Within 24 hours of the explant, for the first time in months I could move my toes! I was crying tears of joy because Dr. Song took the time to listen. He didn’t dismiss my feelings. He truly took the time to care. Same for his staff, they are all so helpful, supportive and caring! I’m three months post-operation and I have been progressing well! Most of the symptoms and pain that I was experiencing has gone away or has decreased. I never thought in a million years that I would need to have an explant surgery. And, shame on me for second guessing plastic surgeons. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Song and his team. I walked in nervous and worried he might tell me I wasn’t a good candidate for what I wanted to have done. He did the opposite. I sat in his office crying tears of joy when he calmly and with great care explained what he could and could not do to help my body that had been through significant weight loss. DR, Song, is the best. I am an 18 year breast cancer survivor, my breast were uneven, I had weight loss surgery and with the lost weight my breast were very noticeably uneven and I was self conscience of the way I looked. I went to 3 consultation before going to Prima and they each said they couldn’t touch the radiated breast with no other suggestions or options. Dr. Song, however, gave me options, I went with reduction of my right breast to match my left breast and a lift on both with liposuction. While my surgery was a challenge for him he because of the the way the lumpectomy left my left breast so deformed, he mastered it successfully, I love the outcome and feel great I am 3 weeks post op. He is very attentive and knowledgeable and precise. He is thorough and explains the procedures completely with the good and the bad. I would for sure be going back to Dr. Song for my next procedure. Words can not describe how pleased I am with the results of my son’s temple filler procedure! 10 years ago my son had a motorcycle accident that mandated brain surgery. That surgery left a significant dent on his left temple. It was extremely visible and it bothered him a lot. He decided to do temple hollow correction surgery with Dr. Song using a fat graft that was taken from his stomach. The surgery was conducted by Dr. Song in his office and it was a complete success! Dr. Song and his team are incredible. I have always been pretty anxious when it comes to surgery, however on the day of my surgery I felt so extremely calm and comfortable…which was surprising to me! I just knew I was going to be taken care of - and each member of his team reminded me of this. After my surgery Dr. Song reached out to check on how I was doing and after that he was easy to reach via text if I had any concerns. Consultation - tummy tuck & breast lift with removal of axillary tissue. - Had the privilege to consult with Dr. Song this afternoon for a plethora of issues that need reconstruction: botched extended tummy tuck redo, botched breast lift redo w/ axillary tissue removal, correct asymmetry of botched back lipo, and additional arm & thigh lift.Due to the severity of the complications I had with the procedures performed overseas, Dr. Song advised to begin my reconstruction journey by attacking my anterior body; tummy tuck & breast lift with removal of axillary tissue. He emphasized that he would not be flipping over (face down), in other words, he would not perform lipo or excise skin from my back during my 1st surgery. This would potentially fall in phase 2/3, contingent upon successful healing of my abdominal & breast redos. Due to my sleep apnea my surgeries would need to be performed at the hospital.Unfortunately, I currently do not have a belly button due to my previous botched experience and Dr. Song explained that we would not even attempt to create a new belly button (neo umbilicus) at this point in order to curtail potential blood circulation/infection issues. This one was a hard pill to swallow because I've been waiting for a new belly button since I got botched in mid-2000's. Also, he advised against me getting implants along with my breast lift redo (due to potential rejection of foreign object). Doc urged me to "trust his plan" and honestly, I know his plan is conservative in comparison to all the TikTok surgeons however, my now wiser & mature self & intuition tell me that I have found my symmetry Angel.I've been battling with shame, depression and fear from my "botched" experience in Bogotá.I nearly died and was left severely disfigured to the point that I no longer have a belly button, I have a hard mass in my stomach which is causing me to have back & mobility issues, my back skin sags, and my husband & father of my children abandoned US because of how "hideous my turned out" - his words exactly. So you see, if Dr. Song can work his magic slowly but surely - I'M DOWN!I've done enough spiritual, mental and emotional healing. Recently underwent VSG surgery to lose the excessive weight I've packed on these past 17 years drowning in my own self-pity. It's time to heal my exterior! 2023 is my come back year!PSDoc has excellent bedside manners and is very attentive. He was not dismissive, yet firm on his plan on how to approach my situation with what I'm currently working with: a botched canvas. I respect that! Dr. Song is the best surgeon that I have worked with. Not only does he get you to your desired results but he does it safely. He is very attentive with all and any needs that you will have along the process, especially post op. 2 months post-op - wanted a natural look and he delivered - I chose Dr. Song for my mommy makeover surgery and I couldn’t be more pleased with not only my results but the whole entire experience! Happy repeat patient - Happy for the 3rd time - This is my 3rd procedure performed by Dr. Song, and I'm happy for the 3rd time. I just got my breast reduction/lift with implants exchange (smaller). This has been a very easy recovery, with little pain. The only pain was from the liposuction to the underarms. My scar looks really good considering I have keloid skin. More

For years I struggled with mid section weight gain in the lower belly. No matter how many diets, exercise, healthy eating, counting carbs/macros I couldn’t even make a dent in the lower belly. It was depressing to say the least. I decided to look into a Tummy Tuck. Had several consultations with different surgeons. My concern was safety #1. I didn’t want a doctor to cut corners or a doctor that was all about IG likes and followers. When I met Dr Song I knew I would be safe. He also told me no diet or exercise would free me of the bottom belly area that it would need to be surgically removed. I had abdominal plastic surgery December 3,2021 by Dr. Song. And in this procedure my flanks was liposuction out along with my upper and lower abdomen. And the repairing of my muscles. After an OK-experience with another surgeon five years ago, I had pretty high expectations and everyone at Prima went above and beyond. Dr. Song is incredibly knowledgeable and has helped me feel confident in my body after losing about 70 pounds. His attention to detail and thoroughness during the post-op care has allowed me to heal very quickly with almost no issues! But what sets Prima apart from other plastic surgery centers is the rest of the staff is just as amazing! Wanda, the surgery coordinator, was amazing during the pre-surgery time (answered all my email questions promptly) and goes out of her way to say hi every time I see her in the office and tell me how great I look Adriana, Dr. Song's nurse, is absolutely fantastic and knows her stuff. I have never trusted a nurse as much as I trust her...and it feels like I've known her forever! I second what another review said below: Friday is my last post-op and I don't want them to stop! For years I struggled with mid section weight gain in the lower belly. No matter how many diets, exercise, healthy eating, counting carbs/macros I couldn’t even make a dent in the lower belly. It was depressing to say the least. I decided to look into a Tummy Tuck. Had several consultations with different surgeons. My concern was safety #1. I didn’t want a doctor to cut corners or a doctor that was all about IG likes and followers. When I met Dr Song I knew I would be safe. He also told me no diet or exercise would free me of the bottom belly area that it would need to be surgically removed. I didn’t really set any expectations because in my mind ANYTHING would be better than what I was currently living with. Now 6 weeks post op from TT/MR/Lipo to flanks and under chin and I not only look AMAZING but I feel even better than I look. My midsection speaks for its self. I followed every instruction and I healed great. Even the incision line looks great! Swelling sucks but even on my now worst days is better than my previous best days. My son and I had a small procedure done at Prima, and I was quite impressed to say the least. Dr. Song, and Adriana were hospitable and made us feel very comfortable. They answered any questions or concerns we had. Adriana was awesome, she held my son’s hand and reassured him when he was nervous. Getting Back to Me After 3 Sweet Babies! - I’ve been wanting a tummy tuck ever since after I had my first c-section and my OBGYN looked at my stomach and said “the only way you’re going to loose your stomach is to have a tummy tuck.” I had three c-sections and with the first two weighing in at 9lbs 0.2 oz and 9lb 3oz. My last baby was the smallest at 8lb 9oz. Each baby was 28 months after the last.I had a breast reduction by a different surgeon two years ago and afterwards I only saw my belly. I researched several doctors, read countless reviews, searched the end of YouTube for videos and finally chose Dr. Song.My initial consult was April 27, 2021. I arrived alone at Prima Center for Plastic Surgery and was greeted by Stacy. I eventually was taken to the back by Adriana she explained everything that was going to happen during the consult, had me undress and she took photos.Dr Song came in shortly after and explained the procedure, asked questions, performed an assessment and told me what type of tummy tuck I was a candidate for. He was thorough and made it very clear he was not going to flip me over on the table and was not going to perform back lipo. He showed me a video of the process and showed the areas he is going to lipo (the flanks), answered my questions and that was basically it.After he left, Jessica came in and explained the pricing, provided the quote and advised me to call when I was ready to schedule. I paid $75 for the consultation and was told if I choose Dr. Song the $75 will go towards the overall cost of the surgery.I left feeling glad my questions were answered but a little uncertain at the same time. I questioned do I want lipo of my back rolls? Why wouldn’t he flip me over? After giving it much thought, my expectation was to have a natural looking tummy. I don’t want the “Instagram model” look. I don’t want to look overly liposuctioned if that makes sense. I came back to Real Self, reviewed his reviews and photos again, discussed it my husband, my best friend and a few others close to me and then decided I’m going to go for it!I called on May 4, 2021 to schedule the surgery. Cindy was very nice and helpful. It was $500 to schedule the appointment and that will also go towards the cost of the surgery. Mommy Time… - I have 74 days before my tummy tuck. I would love to have it sooner, but I’m not going to push it because I want to lose some weigh. Thirty pounds would be awesome. I want to make sure I get the best results and I don’t want to worry about losing more weight after my surgery. The only thing I want to worry about is my recovery and possibly getting a 6 pack, once I’m cleared to workout again.Updated on 29 Jun 2021:So, like I said I’m going to try and lose as much weight as possible before my surgery date. I’ve really worked my but off. I walked 6 miles almost everyday, with the exception of Sundays. I also swam twice a week and did Zumba twice a week. As far as my diet, I cut back to 1200 calories per day and burn on average 2000 calories per day. This week, I cut back to 1000 calories and plan to juice until my pre-op, next week. During this week, I will probably cut back on the exercising and have one super healthy meal a day. I’m juicing beets, pineapples, spinach, oranges, ginger, and turmeric. So, I will juice and drink water all day and eat one small healthy meal before 6:00pm. And I plan to get plenty of rest and sleep; don’t want to tax my body too much. Oh yeah, also taking multivitamins. I purchased a few supplies for post-op care, but don’t want to over do it. Any suggestions? I already have Juven, foams, hibclens, pads for incision, loose fitting open in front dress, robe, and slide on shoes.Updated on 26 Aug 2021:I had my pre-op today. Everything went well. Adriana answered all of my questions before I met with Dr. Song. I went ahead an paid extra for the Exparel; just in case. Better safe than sorry. I hope it really makes a difference. I’m also getting a revision on my arm lift from two years ago. I’ve lost more weight in my arms and could really do without the extra skin. Not really sure how I’m going to get up and down without using my arms with a TT. Two years ago when it was just my arms, I relied heavily on my core muscles to scoot in and out of bed and seated positions. This is going to be interesting. I started going to the gym 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, I tried to do some ab workouts but wasn’t able to do a single on and I had it on the lowest setting, 5 lbs. So I get I’ll be taking it easy. Maybe even start with yoga or Pilates. I did however do a few Zumba classes with no problem. Any suggestions on ab workouts after a tummy tuck would be great. More

Of those 50lbs I gained in just 18 weeks, I lost 42lbs in the 2 weeks after delivery. My belly skin NEVER recovered. I've spent the last 8 years feeling trapped in this skin. I spent years not caring about my weight because at least the skin looked a little better when it's filled with fat. Every time I lost weight it just looked like a crinkled up paper bag again. My breast went from a 42H to a 38DD. I lost 10lbs prior to surgery and have lost an additional 10lbs since surgery. I recently had upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) at Prima Center performed by Dr. Song. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience from the consultation through the recovery process! My eyelids are no longer saggy, look natural and make me look and feel years younger. I developed Bell's Palsy on the left side of my face as a result of a fall 7 years ago. Looking for the FLAT SIDE!!! - Where do I start now...I stalked Realself when I had my breast done. I heard great things about doctors in Miami (as long as you can withstand the wait times). Now I'm baaaack for a tummy tuck!! I wanted to go to Dr. Hunsaker (or however you spell it) at C.G. Cosmetics. However, I have heard so many horror stories where patients needed to go back to their original doctor due to whatever complications they were having. That's an 11 hour drive for me and I wouldn't be able to stay more than 5 days. Soooo I researched doctors in Atlanta, GA and found quite a few but none with CONSISTANT work! That was very important to me. That's how I found Dr. Song. I came across a few reviews from women who had seen him and I was always looking at their pics like "WOW"!! I even went to the website and pulled up Tummy Tuck before and after pics of his and his colleagues and let me tell you, Dr. Song can work miracles!!! Now I'm a thick chick weighing in now at 215 lbs so I thought I wasn't even going to be a candidate. I am 5'4", so I'm thick and short LOL!! I was nervous to even reach out to a doctor because I felt I would be rejected and be turned away due to my BMI being over 30. Not Dr. Song. When I have my verbal consultation with him on yesterday 10.1.2020, he made me feel so comfortable. I sent in my pics to his office last week and got contacted by his PA Cindy (who is sooo lovely and sweet). I paid the $75 consultation fee after completing paperwork with her and sending pics. (sorry for being all over the place). Buuut back to speaking to Dr. Song. The call lasted about 10 mins and he discussed the procedure in great detail. Everything from the cut and lipo and his expectations. He can see my true figure under these layers of blubber and he advised me that he can meet my expectations. The only extra thing I would have to work on is this bra roll. Ewww I hate that about my back but I really started working out and jogging again very recently. I just gotta keep it up. I got my quote this morning and there are a few things I want to discuss before I post the quote. I'm looking to get snatched in January 2021 (my birthday month). 32 yo Mom of two, Mommy Makeover - I'm a 32 yo Mom, of two precious kids. I breastfed both babies and lets just say, they left my boobs looking like "quarters in a tube sock". Lol I've had a very hard time getting my body back from pregnancy and I've been considering this surgery for years. My surgery was January 3, 2020. I had a breast lift with 450cc in each implant, tummy tuck w muscle repair and lipo to sides, mons area and under arms.As I'm starting this review, I'm only 2wpo but already sooooo happy with my results and I cannot wait to see where I am at the 6 month mark! Dr. Song is extraordinary! I could not have picked a better surgeon. His work is precise and beautiful, while his bedside manner is even better! Pick Dr Song! - Dr Song charges reasonable prices and treats you like his one and only surgery case. At my consult in March 2020, he showed me a video of the tummy tuck (TT) and lipo (upper stomach and flanks) procedure. He was honest that without getting the back lipo, I would still have the back rolls that I walked in with. That was fine because I never wanted a vixen look. I just wanted my body back from 10 years ago. I signed consent forms and I paid the deposit to have surgery in May. The next day Covid 19 exploded everywhere and I was sick to my stomach . But I had faith that everything would work out. And it did! Lockdown was lifted May 1st, mandatory Covid 19 testing came back negative a week before surgery. Pre op was 10 days before surgery; because I was having surgery at the his surgery center, I didn’t have to do pre op blood tests, pcp clearance or xrays. I am 36 yrs old, fairly healthy mom of 4 so I didn’t mind. I had a full workup a few months ago previously my pcp anyway. At preop I was given my prescriptions including 10 blood thinner syringes that I had to self administer (I hate needles but you barely feel it). I had gained weight over the quarantine and he voluntarily said he’d do some back lipo for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! That’s how you know the Dr cares about the final result, not just money! I was nervous the day of surgery but his nurses were great! So nice and accommodating! The pain was excruciating after surgery but it’s major surgery. The nurse gave me one Percocet post op but it did nothing. Just be prepared Dr Song told me after surgery that it would all be worth it and it was! He even called and texted me on a Sunday evening to make sure the pharmacist fixed my pain prescriptions!!! I have my body back and self esteem on 1000. I was back working at my home desk job a week after surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr Song for TT/lipo!!!Updated on 24 Aug 2020:If you are a curvy girl like me, have your stage 1 Faja ready to get into after surgery. Dr Song gave me a binder to wear but it kept riding into my waist. Right on my TT scar. He gave me the stage 1 faja a week PO and the nurse put it on me at the appt. I felt soooooo much better wearing the Faja under the binder. If I had the faja sooner, the swelling wouldn’t haven’t gotten so bad. More
Consultation! - So I went in for my consultation with Dr. Song. He's very professional and honest. Which I love. His results are realistic. The staff are very sweet and helpful. Thank you Dr. Mike Song! - I have been wanting a mommy makeover for several years. I workout at least 3 days a week but I could never get rid of the loose skin on my stomach that came from my pregnancies. While researching mommy makeovers I came across this site and I'm so grateful that I did. There was one doctor that really stood out to me (Dr. Mike Song) so inboxed the women that had work done by him. They assured me that I didn't need to search any further. I called Prima Center for Plastic Surgery last May 2019,and immediately knew that I made the right choice. Cindy was my coordinator, she's professional, sweet and hilarious. The entire staff is wonderful. On July 12th, 2020 I flew from Ohio to Georgia. And on July 13, 2020 I finally got to put the voices with the faces when I went for my pre op appointment. Dr. Song is down to earth, he really cares about his patients. The butterflies in my stomach went away after I met him. I knew after meeting him, my nurse Jessica and my anesthesiologist Adriana that I was going to love my results. Due to Covid everyone including myself had on masks from the beginning until the end. I loved how the staff handled the Covid situation, they didn't allow anyone in the lobby, they took my temperature as soon as I walked in the door. All of their attention was focused on me. My surgery was on July 16, 2020 just a few weeks ago, one of the happiest days of my life. The only thing I remember from that day is walking into Prima Center excited than waking up in my Airbnb looking down at my hot body lol!! I do remember Dr.Song calling my friend which was my caregiver to check on me and he gave us his cell phone number to call or text if we needed him. I'm still impressed by that. He made my mom feel like she took top priority. He took the time for her.Soooo, me being jealous of my moms perfect boobs, I just had to get mines done too! I was treated with the same importance as my mom. Dr Song explained to me the whole procedure in its entirety.He did a marvelous job! Unfortunately, three years later, my left breast deflated for some reason. I have saline, so it was ok. I called the office and made an appointment. I've dedicated my all to my kids and now that they are of age I decided that for my big 40th birthday I will do something for myself. After doing my research on a few doctors I came across dr. Song. I called and made my conclusion (75.00 fee) (1-17-2020) to meet with him for a tummy tuck muscle repair and lipo of the flanks. The facility was nice and quiet also very clean the staff was very professional and well mannered they even offered me water or soda of course I took the soda lol! Once in the back, they took pictures then dr. Song came in and did the examination he went over everything and answered all my questions with no hesitation. Once in the back I changed into the gown Dr Song assist Adriana came in took my hemo, blood pressure and temperature again then she went over the drain info and after care she also gave me my prescriptions (63.00 with insurance). After that Dr Song came in to to another exam and to answer any other questions i had. The whole process took about 30 minutes. More

32 yo Mom of two, Mommy Makeover - I'm a 32 yo Mom, of two precious kids. I breastfed both babies and lets just say, they left my boobs looking like "quarters in a tube sock". Dr Song's bedside manner is awesome - After 2 children and some weight lost of 30 pounds my boobs were awful lol. After trying to lift them with weight training, it just did not work. So backed to Dr Song I go. After a great consult we decided to aim for a full C maybe D cup. Dr Song bedside manner is awesome. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the scarring before agreeing to the procedure. New Song Doll with a Curvy Waistline - Dr. Song is truly an artist! His attention to detail shows in his work. Super low incision; perfect belly button. I couldn’t have asked for better results. Updated on 30 Dec 2018: This update includes pics that were taken from Dec. 2 (3 days post-op), through Dec 27 (4 weeks post-op). I took pic along the way and chose to post them all at the same time, to show progression from when the swelling was starting to kick in, to the drains being removed, and then results after 1 month. Other than swelling, the worst parts of the first month was giving myself Lovenox injections for the first 10 days and dealing with the drains. I’m a Registered Nurse but it is not very easy inhecting yourself, lol. That is why I’m very careful and as gentle as can be with my patients. Hope you enjoy this update. Sorry for the nudity in some of the pics, if anyone is offended by it. Updated on 29 Jan 2019: I’m doing quite well 2 months after my surgery. Healing nicely. I still use Maderma Stretch Marks Therapy and Bio-Oil daily. I tried using Embrace Active Scar Defense on my incision but it was too harsh for my skin. I removed it after only 2 days because blisters started to form on my skin along the edges of the adhesive. Currently, I use Maderma Advanced Scar Gel. As far as swelling goes, I still get mild swelling sometimes in the evenings but nothing serious. I have included a pic of the waist trainer I wear (most) days. I don’t sleep in it, I usually don’t wear any compression while sleeping unless I feel like I need it- like when I have more swelling at the end of the day. My waist trainer has four latches, I usually wear it on the second setting. I can wear it on the fourth latch but for now, the second latch is more comfortable. Updated on 29 Jan 2019: This urinal device helped soooo much during the first few weeks post op, when trying to keep tension off your surgical site! You won’t have to sit down to tinkle! Tummy Tuck Scar Revision - Dr. Song performed my tummy tuck on May 17, 2018 & at my 6 month check up in November There was an area of extra skin present that bothered me, I felt like it could be flatter. Dr Song said that he could do a local procedure to remove that area. Once I arrived on yesterday he marked the area & I pointed out 2 areas of my tummy tuck scar that were really thick he said let's fix that also. The entire procedure lasted about an hour & a half. I was awake the whole time, the numbing part was hell. I'm in some pain now but I'm dealing with it. Dr. Song is a perfectionist & he definitely wants his patients to be happy. Right now the area is bandaged as soon as my stitches are removed I will post a before & after. Consultation scheduled! - So after 6 months of hardcore research, I have chosen Dr. Song to perform my Tummy Tuck. Not only are his credentials super impressive...his reviews, before and afters and his recommendations are phenomenal. He’s the only surgeon I’ve scheduled a consult with because I’m certain he’s right for me. I also live in Duluth, really close to his office so that’s a plus. This site has helped me so much so I wanted to post my journey here as well to help someone else. My appt is 2/12/19. The price for the consult is $75 and this will be applied to the cost of your procedure. I’m hoping to have my surgery sometime in April so let the countdown begin! Here are a few things with recovery that I didn’t expect (but it is still SO worth it and I will do it again)- bloating and swelling for me slowed down around month 6 or 7. At month 12 I swell/bloat around that time of month or I if went super intense on a workout that involved a lot of core, plyo etc.-My stomach is still numb-ish. I can now feel it but nothing close to before the surgery -stomach still feels tight (like I am wearing a girdle inside ... which technical I am). Most of the time it doesn’t bother me. But some days I def feel it Overall Dr. Song and his staff is amazing, I love my results, and it was worth every penny More

Pre-op appointment with Dr. Song - I had my pre op today. They checked hemoglobin and I passed. Adriana (the nurse) had a check list of all the info we needed to go through. We went over prescription medications, anti-nausea, Percocet, Antibiotics, muscle relaxer and lovenox. Explain what to expect surgery day. Post op care for drains and how to wear binder. After the binder I will start stage 1 than stage 2 garments. Than Dr. Song came in and explain where the incision would be, Mr repair and lipo to the flank. I'm also have chin lipo and inner thigh lipo. He explain where those incision would be. Asked if I had any other question. Which I didn't, because I was so nervous. They said don't hesitate to call or email, if I think of any other questions. I will review all the info again, because there was so much information. Payment in full no turning back now. Highly Recommend Dr. Song - I had lots of loose skin in my pannus area from weight loss and carrying twins. Dr. Song was knowledgable, kind, and took his time with me. He and his staff made the whole process feel seamless and I'm thrilled with my results. I am now able to wear bottoms without having to cover my lower abdomen. The recovery time was much less than anticipated and I was back to work within a month. The first two weeks post op were the hardest, but it was worth it! Dr. Song - I've had over 5 consultation and I'm sold on Dr.Song for my TT but now I'm confused on if I should do lipo and bbl first or TT first. Surgery done! I can't wait to see what's underneath the binder. - Hello all, I had my tummy tuck surgery with Dr. Song on 7/26 with the Exparel shot. Today I am 3 days post op and for the most part I feel okay. The binder gets really uncomfortable overnight and I feel really tight, but that's to be expected. Thankfully, I only received one drain and it's already slowing down. So far, so good and I'm happy I went through with it. I can't wait to see what's underneath the binder. I'm still taking all my meds along with 1000 mg of vitamin C and my vitamin B complex. Has anyone experienced a bubbly type feeling in their stomach post op? This started yesterday near the pubic line but I've also felt it in the middle. More

Dr. Song is Great and I'm a Scary Cat. You Will Be in Good Hands! - I had my TT and MR with Dr Song on April 12th and I must say I was a nervous wreck. I was so scared I was literally ready to jump off the table when I laid down for my surgery, however by the time I was about to say forget it. I was awake in the recovery room. When I woke up, I was cold and super emotional. I guess I was just happy I was ok. So, I did pay extra for the esporal. I'm glad I did because I don't recall having much pain. Just super tight and uncomfortable because you cant cough or use your stomach muscles for a while. Then you have to keep dumping the drains, which my hubby did for me. I was only on the pain meds for about three days. Dr. Song was great. I literally have no complaints at all. I do get swelling and had really bad constipation so take stool softeners and wear your garment. The swelling is mostly in the evening and the constipation is going away. I'm also about 5 weeks post-op . I'm from California, so I stayed in Georgia for 9 days before heading back. On the plane ride home I just got up and walked quite a bit, because I was swelling and got someone to wheel me in wheel chair at the airport so I didn't have to walk much. It was really helpful. So they take me back to the recovery room and place a foley, which was unpleasent. Then we were off to home, cousin helped me up the stairs, medicated me and i was off to lala land for a couple hours, woke up walked, ate and took medications, then back to sleep, this was my routine for the first week. 6 days later back at docs office and he says my drains can come out, lawd i was a scardy cat. The nurse removed the right one relatively no problem, but my gosh the left one was extremely tender, so much so i had her arm in a vice grip. After the trauma i finally got a look at my flat stomach, i had not seen her like this since 1990! I have to say dr. Song was very professional and patient, he did not try to up sale me, infact i wanted more lipo on my back. But he said i can do it, but since it has been done before you wont see much difference! The worst part of this process is and was the suture and drain removal. If i had to do it again , there would be no hesitation!!!! More

Back in June of 2012 I accompanied a friend who was having a procedure done to Prima. During the consult and the surgery I was so impressed with the office and doctors that i joked around with having BA here if I ever had the courage to do it. Well, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Feb 2013. It wasn't how I wanted to come to this office but when my surgeon handed me Dr Song's card, I laughed. God always has a plan. What are the odds?? He has been the most amazing doctor. Not many doctors have the bedside manner he does. A diamond in the rough! In April of this year, my son had a horrible motorcycle accident on home from military leave. Three open fractures of femur, tibia and fibula They were talking amputation of his left leg. Dr.Min (orthopedic dr) performed three surgeries and the leg was still trying to give up. He called me suggesting plastic surgery and a specific procedure that would possibly save his leg. I wanted Dr Song to do the surgery but knew his schedule was so busy that it probably wasn't an option so I didn't suggest it. Dr Min called me with a doctors name for me to research and guess who it was??? Dr Song! I cried mama tears for sure! Literally crying writing this review. With the help of these two doctors I can proudly say he has defied all odds put in front of him. He has been released to full duty and his leg is fully healed. I do not have enough words to express how Dr Song has touched our lives. He literally saved us both. We will be forever grateful! More

After 22 Years......I’M FINALLY GETTING MY FLAT TUMMY BACK!!! - Attached are photo’s of the short sets I purchased from Walmart to wear following surgery for about $11 each (shorts were $6.88 and the tanks were a little over $4). I also attached a photo of drain holders that I want to purchase from Jessica M. Creation. I came across these holders while following Shelita Prioleau Youtube channel where she takes you on her tummy tuck journey. Her page is very informative and I learned quite a bit. Her surgery was less than 2 weeks ago so I continue to wish her a very speedy and pain free recovery. Any other information I may come across that can help the next I will share! More

Tummy Tuck Scar Revision - Dr. Song performed my tummy tuck on May 17, 2018 & at my 6 month check up in November There was an area of extra skin present that bothered me, I felt like it could be flatter. Dr Song said that he could do a local procedure to remove that area. Once I arrived on yesterday he marked the area & I pointed out 2 areas of my tummy tuck scar that were really thick he said let's fix that also. The entire procedure lasted about an hour & a half. I had my BA done 8 days ago and I must say, this experience was amazing. My surgeon was Dr. Song. From the consultation to post op appointment I've been very happy. Wanda was so nice in helping me with the financial part. Stacey was wonderful in helping scheduling my appointment. & Dr. Songs assistant Kate was awesome and answered all of my questions and gave me insight into her personal experience. Prima Centers prices are also very affordable. I met with 4 doctors and Prima Center quoted me 500$-1000$ less than any other clinic I went to. Not only was the price lower, but I felt the most comfortable with Dr. Song and his staff. So, put those two together and I found the perfect clinic for me. I recommend them to everyone! Many years ago I had 2 breast augmentations then a year ago I explanted them! Never been happier! Dr Song did my TT, MR, lipo of the flanks and so far I am very happy! I was so scared and nervous to do this because of fear of complications from such a big surgery, but I was so tired of the apron. I am almost 48 yrs old, 2 children by c section and my stomach was not going to return to halfway normal looking again without surgery. I am very active. I run 3-3.50 miles 4 sometimes 5 days a week and it wasn’t helping that area. Dr Song is very caring. He wants you to be happy with your result and he is a perfectionist. I like that his belly buttons look so good, his scar placement is low, and so far pretty straight for the most part. I’m 15 days post op and I have had the best experience and recovery. 35 Years Old, Breast Cancer Survivor, Reconstruction Surgery by Dr. Song - I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2016. In April 2017, I had a right modified radical mastectomy with axillary dissection. Almost a year to the day, we started on my reconstruction. Keep in mind that after the mastectomy, I was completely flat, and a little caved in. I started the reconstruction process on April 16, 2017 and the pictures attached are a week and 1 day out of surgery. I am pleasantly surprised with the outcome thus far, and can not wait to see the final results! Dr. Song is my surgeon, and I am so very glad he has been able to help me feel like a woman again, and for bringing my self esteem way back up! Dr. Song is amazing, and I will never go to anyone else for any cosmetic procedures I may elect to have in the future! I don't remember much about the day of surgery but the day after wasn't too bad. I had plenty of help with everything which is a MUST! My daughter was really good at taking care of me. She set her alarm to go off every 5 hours to give the pain meds...this is something you should definitely do to stay on top of the pain even if you aren't hurting.....I have to say that my boobs hurt worse than my stomach...most people have problems with constipation but not me...I had diarrhea for almost a month...I guess we all react differently to things. I had no appetite for about 2 weeks, i think because i couldn't taste anything. Lol I only had to keep my drain tubes in for a week! Thank goodness because they are a pain and always in the way. I was also back at work after 12 days however, I do have an office job that is not too demanding.Everyday it gets better. I am still sore and just had to have a couple of stitches removed from my belly button that protruded through and was causing my belly button to have some drainage.I have to say I am very pleased with Dr Song. He is always pleasant at my visits and his work is really good. I know I made the right choice.I'm not the best at writing reviews and I have not been that good at taking photos but I will post a few that I have. 36 Year Old, 168 Lbs, 3 Kids, 2 C-sections Muscle Repair, Tummy Tuck, Lipo, Hernia Repair, Breast Implants - After reviewing several reviews and looking at several before and after pictures, I decided that Dr. Song would be the best doctor. In the beginning, I was considering Dr. Sumanth Pagadala, MD in Columbus, Ga, but notice that he had a lot of concerns by his patience’s. Since I was currently in the process of moving to GA from CA, I decided to do an email consultation. On March 1, 2018, I called into Dr. Song office an asked if I could email photos instead of coming into the office and one of the office staff members took my info and deposit of 75.00 and advised me of the email to send in my photos and someone should contact me within 48 hrs. I get a call the next morning by Dr. Song Nurse Assistant and let’s just say the turnaround time was like Wow. Ms. Wanda was very nice and listen to all my concerns and took notes to have Dr. Song look over. I’m requesting to have (Tummy Tuck, Lipo, Muscle repair, Hernia repair, and silicone breast implants) and the price give was well in my budget. I paid my deposit of $750 to reserve my surgery date which is scheduled for April 27, 2018. I finally got to meet with Dr. Song, for my per- op on March 27, 2018 and just let’s say he’s very professional and explain everything about what will take place during my surgery. He informed me that my Diastasis Recti “(Abdominal Muscle Separation)”, was very bad and it will require him to double stitch me. He also inform me that since my Diastasis was really bad that he wouldn’t recommend me working out for 6 months. After explaining to me about my Diastasis and the sizes of breast implants he will consider using with my body frame, he then show me slides of how each procedure will be performed will in surgery. For my procedure, I was be under for 4 ½ hours. At the time, I didn’t have any questions, so I was provided contact info for Dr. Song and his nurse assistant to contact them with any concerns I may have later. My surgery is schedule for April 27, 2018 and I can’t wait. I will post an update status after my procedure. More
25 Years Old, 5 Foot 10, 34J UK (34M US) - So as you can see from the pictures attached, my biggest problem are my BrEASTS! I’m 25 years old wearing 34M US bras. I am originally from the UK and moved to Atlanta January last year (2017). I think my biggest breaking point apart from quite clearly looking at them was the inability to buy a bra in the US. If I wanted to buy a new bra I would either have to wait until I went back to the UK or would have to import. Both of these options costing a lot of money and still being in pain having to wear them. I don’t know if this blog will help anyone but this site was basically my bible for years and every review/experience helped me make decisions from whether this was the right decision for me to who will be the right doctor for me, so anything I say will hopefully be helpful in some way, shame, or form (just like breast’s, right?) I had a very successful consultation last Friday with Dr. Song at Prima Center for Plastic Surgery, Atlanta. From the moment I walked in, I was comfortable. I didn’t feel rushed and I was half expecting to be in and out in under 20 minutes not feeling comfortable with the information I received and having more questions than I begun with! But that was not the case! I was greeted by a lovely lady at reception and instructed to fill out some new patient forms and then passed over to another lady for measurements and to talk a little. She completely put me at ease and was extremely professional from the moment I walked in. Dr. Song also was very professional when taking measurements and on the breast review side of things. We then sat down where he showed me a PowerPoint presentation of the surgery, talking about risks, method types, as well as before/after pics from his previous surgeries. He went into a lot of detail of the 2 types of surgeries that could be done, one being a traditional approach which involved keeping the nipple attached to the blood supply where he believes he will be able to get me down to a large C/small D (music to my ears!!!!). Another approach being a nipple graft which basically involves cutting away the nipple from the blood supply, getting you down to as small as you want, and reattaching the nipple obviously then losing nipple sensation etc. He was honest and recommended the first method and stressed that patient safety/risk is a high priority for him and I totally believed his every word. When he asked if I had any questions, I pulled out my massive list of notes on my phone and was pleasantly surprised that he had answered most if not all of them. Another couple of pointers to mention from the consultation - he told me an anchor incision would be used for my procedure. He also does side lipo included with the price, he sees this as a must. Does not use drains (yay). And included in the cost would be another pre-op visit, the surgery itself, pain medication, surgical bras after surgery as well as some to take home if I wish, and either 1 or 2 post-op visits (can’t remember how many). After the above, Dr. Song gave me his card and told me to email if there were any further questions I had (this was another massive selling point for me - he cared!). I then sat down with another lady where we went through pricing, finance options as well as dates that Dr. Song had available for surgery. My husband was with me and we came to a quick agreement to take his first opening (April 27th 2018). It was nice to see my husband have total confidence as well. We left the surgery very happy with our experience and have another pre-op visit scheduled for April 9th. Already having nightly dreams of a life without these monsters!! More

Absolutely fantastic! - I have to say Dr. Song is such a great doctor and person overall. He's very knowledgeable in his work and very flexible. From beginning to end he's consistent and reliable. Coming into the consultation he provided me with all the information I needed without me needing to ask. He's very honest and open to your wants/needs. I'm 29 and have one child and was worried about whether my breast augmentation would sag and if it was a good time to even have surgery done at this time of my life, but I was definitely needing some change to them cause I wasn't getting any younger and didn't think I could wait til I had the rest of my children. But he reassured me that everything would be fine and that of course there's risks, but he made me confident in knowing what I was getting into. I was able to schedule an appointment in 1 week and surgery went well. Friendly staff, love them all (Wanda, Adrianna, Dr. Song, anesthetist, nurse). Based on your results, Dr. Song recommends how fast/slow you can get back to everything. I went in to surgery on Friday and went back to work on Monday following. Checkups are great and he answers all your emails, texts, calls although he's a very busy doctor. His nurse, Adrianna, is so friendly and loving, she's like your best friend there. She's very knowledgable as well and can answer your questions. At 6 weeks my breasts have already dropped significantly and at 2 months I was released to go back to doing all normal activities! He's definitely a down to earth guy and understands the ins and outs of breast augmentation. For best results, I would bring a picture with you to get the results you want (as with any dr). It helped me to get my results to my liking and I'm very very pleased with my breasts. I'm very glad I did this and would recommend this to ANYONE interested in breast augmentation. Dr. Mike Song "He's the MANNNN"!!!! I love him. - I'm bat [RS bleep] nervous, as my original procedure was supposed to be with Dr. Cochran. Unfortunately, due to his death, I was forced to once again begin my search. Since I'd already scheduled my time off, I not only needed a surgeon as talented and blemish free as Dr. C, but one that could get me within the same time frame as my original procedure date. I'll be honest, I'm nervous, as my procedure is less than 3 weeks away, but I'm so confident with Dr. Song. Frankly speaking, I'm a bit more confident with him than I originally was going with Dr. C. Wait. Wait. Don't bash me yet! The only reason I say that is because I really hated Dr. C didn't offer Cosmet Assure. Having that extra insurance was so important to me and not having it with Dr. C.; I was pretty much just riding on a wing and a prayer. Thankfully, since Dr. Song's procedures and prices automatically come with Cosmet Assurance, I can focus on my healing and be prepared just in case there are any complications. Great Doctor, Great Results! - Duluth, GA - After having my first reconstruction after a double mastectomy, I was less than impressed with my prior surgeons ability, expertise (or lack thereof) and the outcome. Knowing that I deserved a better result after having undergone everything I had due to breast cancer, I sought out a surgeon whose level of training, interest and expertise was superior, and that's when I contacted Dr. Song. I've had such a great experience with him, and immediately felt confident that he knew what he was doing, and would provide me with the best result possible. He gave me plenty of information about the procedure he would do during the revision and why, and what I could expect for results. He also answered every question I had, and didn't seem to rush through my appointments. He didn't weave a fairytale like story about what my chest would look like after the surgery, but told me the realistic truth, which helped because that way I didn't have an image in my head that wasn't going to be feasible. I have been more than happy with my new chest, and although it's not perfect, after a mastectomy, because of the volume and tissue loss, combined with physical imperfections, one can't expect to have the same outcome as one who simply underwent an augmentation. I look great in a bra, pretty good without one, except i'm missing a nipple on the right, but I'm symmetrical, full and glad to have that whole cancer nonsense behind me. More

BR and BL, 38 No Kids - Atlanta, GA - This was easily, the most nerve racking decision of my life. Up to the day before my procedure, I was asking myself: "are you really going to do this to your body". I almost contacted the doctor's office and cancelled the procedure. I believe we all go through this struggle, as it is a huge life decision. On the one hand, I knew I really needed the procedure. My breasts have always been big and droopy, with limitations on what I could wear. I have never had perky breasts, and I could only see my nipples if I was looking in the mirror (and they were always pointing downwards). You can still see the dark rashes underneath my breast today (which were at times itchy and smelly), as well as the bra strap marks on my shoulders. I'd had enough. On the other hand, there were the risks. Infections, necrosis, horrible outcomes (sorry AngelEyes 281) and of course, the scars. We are literally willingly subjecting ourselves to "mutilation". If it wasn't for the brave ladies of Real Self, and the confidence I had in Dr Song, I probably would not have gone through with this procedure. It is because of you ladies and Dr Song, that I decided to pay it forward, and to post this review. (Sorry it took me so long, was waiting until I was on vacation). I did my procedure on July 13, 2016. Five weeks hence, I have absolutely no regrets. I love my boobs. A huge joker's smile comes across my face whenever I look at them in the mirror. I am ashamed to admit, that I stare at them in the bathroom mirror. I would leave the bathroom, then go back in to stare at them again. Based on your results, Dr. Song recommends how fast/slow you can get back to everything. I went in to surgery on Friday and went back to work on Monday following. Checkups are great and he answers all your emails, texts, calls although he's a very busy doctor. His nurse, Adrianna, is so friendly and loving, she's like your best friend there. She's very knowledgable as well and can answer your questions. At 6 weeks my breasts have already dropped significantly and at 2 months I was released to go back to doing all normal activities! Backfat Be Gone - I chose Dr. Song due to his numerous positive views, his wealth of knowledge, willingness to answer questions, and open honesty during my consult regarding what I could expect. This journey has been a long one as I originally planned to go elsewhere. Let me take you through my process. First things, I worked out 6 days a week for the last year and have now increased to 7 with 3 days a week doing TWO a days! My issue is not necessarily lack of exercise nor diet as I tend to keep that under control. My backfat appears to partly be genetic. I originally looked at going to DR because a few of my friends went. I decided saving a few extra bucks wasn't worth dying and not being home where I can control my post-op care. I looked at Duran and a few others and the botched surgeries I saw on Facebook were too much for me. I was then looking at Fisher in Miami. I hated the way the girls in the front desk/ on the phones behaved to some degree. They were sweet in terms of getting back but they wouldn't answer any questions I had and just kept saying "okay you can book" *in a thick heavy Spanish accent* after I had my online consult. That didn't sit well and I didn't like the pressure of, he's booking early. So that led me to Dr. Song after reading a lot of his good reviews. He was patient (ha) today in answering all of my questions, we talked about some of everything from potential complications to preventing back fat in the future... He gave me a realistic expectation and discussed the fact that I may not see everything I want but will see a vast improvement. He's optimistic given my health & commitment. I was so confident in his abilities that I put down my deposit today and scheduled everything. I'm weighing in at 216 and hoping to get to 199 in the next couple weeks. I will keep you all updated. BR and BL, 38 No Kids - Atlanta, GA - Dr Mike Song is a true gentleman. Extremely patient, with a calming spirit and demeanor. This was important to me, given the stressful decision to proceed with this procedure. I knew nothing about plastic surgery or surgeons before I decided to do this procedure. I had never met or spoken to anyone who had undergone plastic surgery (I am from a small island). I read the reviews on over a 100 plastic surgeons on Real self, including the "top doctors" in Atlanta. One particular review stood out for me. The patient was what I would consider "fussy". She had consulted about 5 plastic surgeons and Dr Song was the 3rd doctor or so, she had seen. After she consulted with about 2 other doctors, she went back to Dr Song. I liked that. But I especially liked, how Dr Song's patients desrcibed him: skillful, with an eye for the "aesthetics" (beautiful breasts) and painstakingly detailed. I never forgot the use by one patient of that word: "aesthetics". A word I would have never thought of associating with breasts. I therefore decided to go in to see Dr Song based on these reviews. When I met him, I knew he was the right one. He was so calm, not garrulous, but very detailed in his explanations. Although I had about 2 pages of questions, there was no need to ask him all the questions, I had prepared. I just felt settled. I do not need to go on and on about Dr Song's skill, competence or aesthetics, and you do not have to take my word(s) for it, just look at my pictures! Each time, I look at my breasts in the mirror, a huge joker's smile, comes across my face. Words cannot express my gratitude Dr Song. You gave me exactly what I asked for, and helped to increase my self confidence. Dr. Song has been my doctor for more than 2 years and I won't go to anybody else. My first surgery was a full tummy tuck and liposuction on the sides, then I came back, about 3 months ago, for a neck liposuction and fat transfer to the face and Botox on the forehead. I recently had a tummy tuck and lipo with Dr.Song and he is awesome!! As well as the staff! I was so scared and they made me feel very comfortable and helped me get through it! I did my research before going to anyone and this is defiantly the place to go! It only took me 2 weeks to recover.. I also got my arms done a year after the tummy tuck. I got it done on Friday and was back to work Monday. Also done by Dr.Song. He is kinda shy and straight forwarded when you come in for the consult.. 28 Years Old - I Have a New Favorite Song - Duluth, GA - There are not enough positive words to describe my feelings about choosing Dr. Song as my surgeon. I have had an amazing experience. I am 3 weeks out and almost feel like I never had a procedure at all. - - Dr. Song is a total pro. He is precise, very professional, gentle, kind, and easy on the eyes. He texts back after hours within seconds. His assistant Alanka, is such a sweetheart and they both made me feel comfortable in such an awkward situation. My breasts are near perfect now and the contour lipo looks amazing. I also had another procedure done but I have very nosy in-laws who know my surgery date and doctors name so..... I'll just say- I read tons of reviews, stalked real self for 2 years, consulted with 5 doctors, and even 2 consultations with Dr. Song. There was NO question after meeting him that he was the one. The only negative thing about the procedure - was having to self inject blood thinning meds. 2 Big Babies Left Me Deflated. Duluth, GA - Ok so! I have found this site so helpful during all of my planning and I decided i wanted to share my mommy makeover journey and hopefully help someone that's curious just like I was. I'm having this procedure done with Dr. Mike Song of prima center in Duluth Ga on March 25th which is only 5 days away and just as I typed that out I felt my blood pressure raise, I'm super nervous about being put under but I know or at least I hope it'll all be worth it! I decided on Dr. Song after already seeing him for Botox and juvederm, so I'm already very familiar with him and his staff and I love them all, I am having a full tummy tuck with a belly button float instead of a traditional because apparently I have a high BB and the only other way to do it would be to make a small vertical incision across the hip to hip incision and that scared me a little bit plus I don't have to worry about having stitches around my BB so yay! I'm also having an anchor breast lift with somewhere around the 445 cc silicone implants, he's ordered a couple of different sizes to "try on" in the operating room, my biggest fear is not going big enough and regretting it later, He said I have a good amount of breast tissue already so I should have a nice outcome, let's hope so for mine and my poor husbands sake hehe. Speaking of my DH bless his heart he freaks out anytime I try to tell him what they're going to do to me, lucky for him he gets to take care of me for a few days then my mother is coming to stay with me for about a week, I have 2 kids 8 and 12, both of them weighing 10lbs when they were born ???? I had one natural and one c section so of course I have that cute smiley face from that on my stomach with all 7,000 stretch marks I acquired, at least I had 2 beautiful healthy babies out of it all ?? I love Dr Song and Alanka! I had difficult breast reconstruction after a mastectomy. Since my diagnosis I've been to many doctors. I hate when they have you wait for hours to see the doctor who then pops in for 2 minutes like they're doing a drive by. Many doctor's act like they're time is so much more valuable than yours. Not at Prima. They were very professional and thoughtful and the staff was very sweet. They're also organized and call you back promptly if needed. I hope I never have to, (you know because of the cancer and all) but if I had to I would definitely go back. Great experience. More

I am so glad that God lead me to Dr. Mike Song, Aleka and Prima. My experience was fabulous and my recovery has been phenomenal. I am one week post op and in jeans of course with my compression garment and drain, but I am realistic. I know some days will be easier than others but I'm off the antibiotics, have a few more shots left and take kids pain reliever when needed. If you are unhappy with your appearance he is the doctor to tell you the truth about what you need. More

He was very attentive to my needs and he went as far as to deter my decision of having a tummy tuck because he didn't think I needed it. He suggested Liposuction instead. I appreciated his candid opinion and professionalism and booked my liposuction surgery a few months later. His bedside manners are impeccable and I loved that he personally called me at home the same day of surgery to ensure I was doing well. 40 Won't Catch Me with a Hangover! - Duluth, GA - My consult went very well. I consulted with other doctors closer to my home but I found Dr. Song to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. 42 - Breast Reduction, Tummy Tuck & Liposuction Oh My! - Atlanta, GA - After several consultations I picked Dr. Song. Sought insurance coverage for my breast reduction but it was specifically excluded under my policy. Bit the bullet and did private pay together with a tummy tuck. He spent so much time with me during the first consultation, after I got dressed we sat at a table in the exam room with a big monitor on which he showed me power point presentations about both surgeries and before and after pics that were similar to my body shape. I love to learn and had already done a lot of research so I asked a lot of detailed questions about why he does or doesn't do things a certain way. He seemed appreciative and started drawing me illustrations to explain things. He acted like he didn't have another place to be all day and I felt so comfortable with him. His prices are extremely competitive. I would highly recommend that you check him out. He is young (my age although he looks younger) but his training is impeccable (Harvard, Emory, Stanford) and he is double board certified in general and plastic surgery. Not at all condescending, very down to earth and very approachable. He has been fantastic throughout. So responsive during the first very tough post op week. He never left me hanging when I needed him. Totally thrilled with my results. Actually kind of sad that my next appointment isn't for a month since things are going well (currently 19 days post op). Mommy Makeover-BL, BA, TT with Muscle Repair - Duluth, GA - I can't say it enough but Dr. Song is the most caring, amazing, detail oriented person let alone doctor I've ever met. I am 2 days PO now but feel like I've know him for years. He gives his patients his cell phone number and actually answers it! No matter what time is is. I've called him twice since surgery and he is very patient and listens to my concerns. Always asks me how I'm doing. Most of my pain is coming from my back from being hunched over. Other than that my breasts and abdomen feel OK. He has a very gentle touch. Surgery took longer than expected b/c Dr. Song is a perfectionist and it shows. Although I'm swollen and no where near final results, my breasts look beautiful. After having a weird shape to them my whole life this means the world to me. Everyone at Prima is outstanding. Jenika, Alinka, Wanda, everyone is fantastic. They never hesitate to answer the gazillion questions I have and they never act rushed or bothered. Absolutely Happy with Everything (BA) - Duluth, GA - My thoughts about Jeffrey Zwiren are absolutely amazing! He was organized, and made sure all my questions were answered. He took the time to answer everything, and he utilized all tools necessary to show me what I was searching for when doing a BA. love this man! - Duluth, GA - Dr. Song is the man! Did I say I love this man? He is very straight to the point and honest. If he doesn't feel it's the right thing to do he will let you know. I was a smoker prior to my surgery and he made sure that I was very well informed about the horrible possibilities of smoking and this surgery. I quit about 60 days prior to my surgery. On my 1 week pre-op visit he "fussed" at me and said " I will not do this if you are smoking!" I liked that very much! I would much rather he fuss at me that have someone do it just to do it.Dr. Song has been very informative and you can tell that he is very concerned about the job that he does. He takes the time to walk you through everything and make sure you understand. I researched many Dr's for this procedure and when I found him I just knew!The office staff is great as well. After weeks of intense research I chose to see Dr. Song (along with 2 others) for a "mommy makeover" consult. His office is warm and inviting, his staff is kind and caring and he spent more time with me than I ever imagined and he LISTENED to my concerns. I urge anyone having surgery to do your research. After much research and consults with 2 other plastic surgeons I chose Dr. Song for my "mommy makeover." His office and staff is professional, yet friendly and caring. He is honest and to the point, while being warm and personable. HE as well as his staff listened. He was willing to do things I wanted where possible, and explained in kind detail when it wasn't possible. I made a sizeable down payment to reserve a surgery date. Even before my pre-op he made sure to gather all documents and tests to make sure that every possible precaution was taken so that I was safe during and after such a lengthy surgery. He found an unexpected risk-factor and cancelled my surgery pending a hematology consult. Before the hour was out I received an email offering to refund my down payment. Unheard of! Needless to say, I left it in place as I fully expect the "go-ahead" from the hematologist. I suggest anyone contemplating surgery to research Dr. Song. His reputation is beyond reproach! More

Was recently referred to prima plastic surgery to have a non-cosmetic, medically necessary procedure. I was supposed to see Dr. Nakano, but because of scheduling conflicts I was placed in Dr. Song's care. All of the girls, from the front desk to the assistants in the back, were very nice. They really seemed eager to help me with any questions or concerns I had. Can't say the exact same about Dr. Song. When he finished my procedure, he said "see ya" and just sorta walked out of the room. Didn't even turn around and look at me, which was slightly off putting. I do feel confident in the care I received, however, and trust Dr.Song to be a competent doctor. I will return to prima center (if necessary) because of the convenient location and friendly staff.
