"There are truly not enough positive words I can write regarding Dr. Jeff Zwiren (Dr. Z), his primary nurse, Cindy, and the caring and attentive staff at Prima Center for Plastic Surgery. I have a been a patient of Dr. Z's for over 15 years and I can honestly say that each and every experience I have had with him has been second to NONE! Not only is Dr. Z an exceptional surgeon, but he is a wonderful and genuine man. In fact, I have never met two people quite like Dr. Z and Cindy. They are two of the most compassionate and empathetic people I have ever known. Dr. Z has always listened intently to my concerns, and I have always been more than satisfied with the results. He is a meticulous surgeon whose conscientiousness is obvious in his work and attitude. If you are looking for a doctor who is at the top of his profession, is highly respectable, demonstrates tremendous knowledge, precision and cognizance as well as a sincere courtesy like no other, then Dr. Z is the physician for you!"- S.B. / Google / Mar 20, 2018
"Dr. Stephenson is amazing! 23yrs after having my son I finally decided to get a TT to get rid of my stretch marks & I chose Dr. Stephenson to do it. I'm so glad I did. He did not patronize me just to get my business. He was very realistic about the potential outcome of my surgery, so, on Dec 29, 2017 I checked into Gwinnett Medical hosp where they treated me like gold & Dr Stephenson snatched my waist & got rid of my stretch marks. Dr. Stephenson has a wonderful bedside manner & he answers any & all of your questions so write them down so you don't forget. Ursula (his nurse) is wonderful too. With their help I was back to work in 2 weeks. Choose Dr. Stephenson and you won't regret it"- L.M. / Google / Feb 18, 2018

During the initial consultation, the cosmetic surgeons of Prima Center for Plastic Surgery will evaluate the body to make sure the patient is a good candidate for a Brazilian butt lift. He will assess the areas to take the fat from, and make a determination if in fact there is enough fat to take to attain the results the patient desires. Depending on the amount of fat necessary to fill the buttocks area, multiple donor sites on the body may be considered. The best candidates for this procedure are those who demonstrate:
- Healthy skin tone (lack of sagging skin)
- A reasonable weight (as close to an ideal weight as possible)
- Localized excess fatty deposits on other areas of the body
- A flattened butt or lack of contour to the buttocks
What to Expect
During this procedure, which is performed under general anesthesia, the cosmetic surgeons of Prima Center for Plastic Surgery will use liposuction to suction fat from beneath the skin from the donor areas discussed before surgery. Liposuction can be performed on the abdomen, back, love handles, hips, and/or inner and outer thighs. A solution containing local anesthetic and tumescent fluid is introduced beneath the areas of excess fat. This helps increases patient comfort and minimizes bruising. A very precise and controlled removal of fluid and fat is accomplished. The fat is then prepared and transferred in a precise manner to the buttocks to improve its contour and size. An important part of this procedure is the preservation of the fat that has been removed so that it is harvested in a closed sterile system and thus never exposed to air. The cosmetic surgeons of Prima Center for Plastic Surgery use a closed fat collection system to help sterilize the tissue and separate the unhealthy fat deposits from the healthy fat so that the result is smooth, lasting outcome.
Brazilian Butt Lift Recovery
Patients are released from our outpatient surgical center wearing a compression garment to help with swelling and bruising. This garment also works to help the overlying tissues adapt to its new contour. Protection of the transferred fat is important, therefore sitting directly on the buttocks is avoided for up to 3-4 weeks after a fat transfer surgery. Patients are able to return to very modest duties in 2-3 weeks, with a complete recovery in about 6-8 weeks.
A Brazilian butt lift procedure takes into account two aspects, the first being liposuction, the second being the transplantation process. The average cost can vary between $4,000 to $7,000. This depends on how many areas are used for liposuction to get the required volume of fat. A detailed price and treatment plan is discussed during the initial consultation.
